Does the wife know that yet? Haha just kidding. I might start doing the AAS on a regular basis as well. A friend from the area just got an M3 so he'll check out the BMW club events and I'm checking out the AAS. We'll pick the better of the two and add that as a secondary series to UFO's.

Yessir! At first I thought you meant "promotion" meaning the banners on the track car, then realized that the statement under my name changed with the promotion .

She sure doesn't! I'd just do AAS here and there, as I stand to do some learning with some of the autox gurus at the AAS events.

We buttoned up my Nismo with old stock diff and I drove down there on some terribly heat cycled r6 track tires. TheY put asp and bsp together. I think i was within 4 seconds of fastest ASP time set by Joel V in his ASP vette. Ouch! Quality of driving at AAS is so incredible! I don't think I have ever been out of top 20 with UFO and I'm lucky to make top 40 with AAS.

I thought I'd be BSP still but I talked to someone a couple days ago and he told me I probably would not be in BSP.

That's why I'm asking.

OSP and SM2 are also possible choices. I ran OSP last year since I have an aftermarket hood and not enough interior. I run SM2 this year since I planned on doing an F/I set-up, but have since decided against that.

No one cares if you suck. I know the announcers talk crap in nice way sometimes but you can't hear it over the sound of spinning out. I'm stuck in SSM T2 cause of my SPL stuff and I can't get within 5 secs of the rest of the pack.

I have never heard the UFO announcers bust on someone for driving badly or slowly unless they were drifting and continuously spinning out. If you are spinning out a lot, you need an instructor anyway.
