The OSG did? Can't say I have ever heard of one fail on a Z33/Z34. They will replace it for free most likely.

Wow! What, more specifically, "blew up" with it? What brand of fluid (and weight) were you running? Sounds like one to avoid!

There are tons of them out there, and I have never heard of a failure either!

Rear dif on z34 runs hot and ZCG used 70w 90 synthetic. After first session LSD was locking up in paddock. When we tore down LSD it
had scored clutchbpack and spider gear damage.

I am working with OSG to replace parts. They have been great and I wll use their special oil plus JDM finned diff cover.

The race team has found other issues with z34 rear diff as well on several cars. The bearing carriers tend to move a little causing strange wear as well.

Looks like scattered showers through 3pm. I'll bring street tires in case there is standing water, but plan to run the quickly-balding Hoosiers for sure.

Oh ok. Hopefully it's not to wet if it rains.

Today was fun expect for when it started raining.

Is the person with the grey 03-05 Z on FN01C(I think that's what they're called) in BSP(I think he was in BSP) on this forum? If so what harness/harness bar do you have? I like it a lot!

If not, anyone know who he is?

Did you see me? I did not see you - you should have said hi! it was a good day minus the scattered showers and hail. I know him, but he is not on the forum. He has the same roll bar that I do (Kirk). I can look at his harnesses. He does run BSP. I did not catch his time though, but the results should post tomorrow.

Wasn't sure if I saw you or not, saw someone that looked like you (did you have a GTR shirt on?) didn't wanna say what's up to some random person thinking it was you lol. I did see you run though..pretty quick you ran like 50.xx right?

Never really liked stock Z seats with harness' until I saw that grey Z today.

Yup, my GT-R "The Legend Is Real" shirt. Sadly, I was faster last year, but I did run a 50.206 this year. I think people were a little slower than last year overall by 1.5-2s for some reason - maybe the wetness.

Oh same track as last year?
You going to UFO 6/19? I think I'm going and it'll be my first time with new tires/suspension so it should be interesting how I do.

Hey Chris,

I finally had a chance to run with Brian Burdette, Pat Griffith, etc in their prepped to the max ESP cars yesterday....both are better drivers than me as well. I was only .6 off their times on the horsepower friendly Fedex lot. Considering my car is under prepped and my lack of talent in comparison.....not so sure they were wrong about us in ESP. Strano didn't come in his ESP 5.0 this weekend, though. That, in my opinion, would have been the more conclusive test. The car Pat drives has won a few jackets for Strano and the like in the past. Karen Krauss didn't bring out her ESP WRX either. I know it is a dead horse, but just thought I would let you know.

Basically the same every year, with little tweaks. 6/19 is a double-points event, so I'll be there at some point.

I really wanted to go on Saturday, but can't make it. I will start doing some AAS events soon though.
