I'm headed to PCA event 8/14. 12 to 14 runs. Great event for testing setups. I have new 35mm front bar and new LSD tune to test. I may head out to SCCA event 8/21 too.

Does PCA allow passengers that aren't driving? Would like to go to that event....

 

Car works great! The Z missed PCA event TTOD by 1/2 a second. 35 mm progress bar helped keep rear hooked up without inducing too much understeer.

 

Did you get a replacement OS Giken LSD....or move to something else?

I want to have a view from inside the car, if I got a suction cup could I stick it on the hatch from the inside? or would that not work?

 

Depends on the camera, some cameras can't do in car due to the glare from the outside thru the windshield, some are better at it.

 

I bought a headrest mount a few years ago for 20-30 bucks....don't remember the brand....

How do you guys like the PCA events out there? I went to one back home a month or two ago and enjoyed it a lot.

 

OS Giken fixed everything. Using their fluid now, little different tune, and had clutch discs coated with trick material to reduce friction. No issues now.

 

All regions are different. We have a great club in south bay area. Small club that has 12 to 16 runs each event. Low key. Perfect events to test car do setup changes, etc.

 

What class do you run in again? That bumper isn't SP legal is it?

 

I tape over the duct for SCCA. No, it isn't legal. It will be 100% legal come the Dixie tour next year. My motor is down on power, and needs to be replaced over the winter as well. Plan is to go pretty nuts on the upper plenum and convert it over to E85 for the "new" BSP.

 

Anyone going to SCCA at Marina tomorrow? I'm going to harass some BSP EVOs

 

will E85 even make more power on a N/A Z?
