A little bit, but you can run a butt load more timing in the midrange as well....more tq! It also makes the car run WAY cooler than standard gas. It's somewhat easy to get now in MD.

Yeah in CA there is E85 everywhere now, there's a station 5 miles from my house, all the EVOs around here run E85. If only they started doing E85 at tracks, even though I just use 100oct at track events.

Does anyone know what's better, a contour HD or GOPRO HD?

Molybdenum disilicide coating or other?

Theoretically, it should make a little more than a (my) 100 octane tune, use about 30% more fuel (needs bigger injectors), and run cooler. I just haven't put the wheels in motion yet, but I've been thinking about it and would love to do it. I need to get my 300 on E85, though the Q16 tune is pretty kickass, it's also $12/gal!

you're a MAD MAN!

my buddy is thinking of doing a E85 tune on his bolt on Z23TT, hopefully it'll make 400whp range.

Sounds like stock turbos. It depends on what type and brand bolt-ons he has. Most stock-turbo'd Z32TTs run about 350rwhp with a 91 tune; some squeeze out a little more. He will need to upgrade to larger injectors to run more boost anyway, so he might as well go big enough if he plans to do the E85. My guess is that he will never do it, as it's not as common as it is on Evos and therefore a bit unknown, expensive, and risky.

I assume he knows that the fuel economy on E85 is terrible. My Z32TT gets 26-30mpg. . . while cruising.

Yeah he knows, he makes about 350whp. He keeps going back and further whether he wants E85 stock turbos or 91 octane on GT675Rs? I think that's what they're called.

Norcal UFO autox at Marina this Sunday. I should be there.

I will definitely be there on SATURDAY in a private event. If anyone is interested in going Saturday, make it known. You can not just show up and run on Saturday.

A few pics from Saturday (still working on pics from Sunday). This is with the new TSW rotary forged wheels (18x10.5 +27) all around. They currently have 285 A6s on them, but I ran last month with 315 A6s in the rear without a problem.

I did a direct comparison with and without the wing on my 8th and 9th run (on street tires). Street tire times during fun runs (runs 6 through 9) were 50.0x, 50.0x, and 49.89x with the wing at its lowest AoA setting. I then raised the wing to its max setting, and netted a 49.1x with absolutely no other changes made. Hoosier times were high 47s.

Downforce with drag is no worry in autocross.....I plan to go to a full 10" flat plane spoiler (think nascar) for next year.
