Default Laguna Seca Track Day - Friday, 18 Feb?

Anyone going to the Laguna Seca track day with NCRC on the 18th of February? I'm flying in from Florida on the 16th, so am probably going to register for this soon.

BTW, my car has been garaged non-op for the last 9 months... does anyone know any good auto shops in Monterey/Pacific Grove to get a good fluid change & pre-race inspection scheduled on the 17th of February?

I did. I'm from there originally. Military life moved me out to Quantico, VA and now Pensacola, FL for a couple years.

You need to get your Z to Florida and take advantage of all the mods you can do over there.

Yeah man! I may go to that event, too!

Bring it to Rob at Z Car Garage. He does the pre-track inspections for a few of us (just did one for our event at T-hill which is tomorrow!)

I would, but the car is already in Monterey. No sense in driving to San Jose and back for some basic maintenance y'know.

Yeah, Florida laws are sweet. You can have suppressors to make your guns quiet, and remove your cats to make your cars loud! No emissions/engine restrictions!

What a place to be. I was at Elglin AFB, and looking to buy a house in Niceville, approx. 30 miles from Pensacola. Some nice 300zx's there.

I live right near Monterey. The only good shop I've found in town is Classic Coach Works. Everywhere else I've been has pretty much been a disaster. The owner of CCW used to race Nissans in the 90's. He won one of the Nasport GT-4 championship, so he can definitely get your car track ready. The shop focuses on BMW/Merc/Porsche but they'll gladly work on Nissans. They did great work on my G35. John still works on cars and their other main mechanic Joe does great work too.

Hey, that sounds great. Let me know when you have a meet. Do you go to UFO A/X? I'm should be there every event this year. I'll check Moorespeed out next time. That rate is much lower than Classic Coachworks. Thanks for the heads up.

Damn, NCRC cancelled the event on the 18th due to low signups. I was about to sign up today after getting my leave approved this morning and buying my airline ticket! Oh well, anyone know of any events in Cali going on between the 16th and 28th?
