UPDATED SHOW INFO:

Turn Z, Celebrating Japanese Motoring Culture

The Z Owners of Northern California (ZONC) and Motoring J Style are thrilled to announce "Turn Z," a celebration of Datsun/Nissan Z Cars and Japanese motoring culture at large, which will take place at Infineon Raceway during the 2nd annual Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival on Saturday, June 4.

Race fans are encouraged to visit the ZONC/Motoring J Style display at Turn 7. Race fans can expect more than 50 Zs on display, as well as more than 100 Japanese classics in the area designated as "Turn Z." There will be several categories for judging, with prizes going to owners of selected cars.

Among those in attendance at the event will be sports car racing legend John Morton, competing with several cars during the weekend.

At the end of the day you can drive your Z on the track for $15!!!
Tickets can be purchased here:

Latest info I got from ZONC ...

You will need to buy both a ticket to the event for each person in your car and a corral ticket if you want to do the practice lap on the track at the end of the day (after the races are over around 5:00 p.m.).

Cost for the Saturday, Turn Z event at Infineon Raceway is $35.00 per person and the Corral Pass is $15.00.

You may either click the link below

https://oss.ticketmaster.com/html/ou...ntName%3D1ZONC

or go the the ZONC website and click on Turn Z flyer link: "For Tickets Visit", once there you'll need to click on
"purchase online".

Turn Z should be a fabulous day with the races, the historic cars that you can see up close in the pits, the parade lap, many great ZONC cars and other Japanese cars, and ZONC is also planning on giving awards to the best cars in the corral in 6 or 7 categories. The awards will be given out just before the parade lap.

Latest news via ZONC.

Participants will park at Turn 7 at the top of the track. From there you will line up for the parade lap around 5PM. There will be awards presented to Best Datsun/Nissan/Infiniti in 7 categories.

Tickets for Turn Z will NOT BE SOLD at the gate. You must purchase tickets online via the link below.

https://oss.ticketmaster.com/html/pa...bace783f2b4251

You must purchase both the event ticket ($35/person) and the corral pass ($15 - new price).

The corral pass will admit you to the corral and parade lap.

Alan,
If you just want to park in TurnZ do you still need to purchase the "corral pass"?

I thought the "corral pass" was only for doing parade laps?

35 to get in. No need to run on the track. I think you could pay them at the entrance too of that day - if you want.

^^ You know, I just don't know regarding how the pricing works.

Per the latest information in the Z News.

Event tickets are $35/person.
You then have to purchase a corral pass ($15/car) .. the corral pass will admit you to the parking space at Turn 7 and the corral pass also allows you to go on the track for the parade lap.

So if I understand correctly .. you can go to the event (@ $35/person) .. park elsewhere (not in the ZONC corral .. and not do the parade lap)

Per the Z News .. Tickets for Turn Z will NOT be sold at the gate.

Write to Ann at anndevor@gmail.com for your questions ..

I'm not going to the event .. just passing on the information. Hopefully the weather cooperates. Wet stuff is forecast ...
