there are places to race with people here in the bay area. i just got rid of my nitro car, too much like working on a real car. a lot of fun, but i don't have the time available to do it. some of the cars out there are very fast!! If you have the time, go for it...

i was into it a while ago... i don't have the time now.. also its the rainy season... so you can't really bring it out much. I used to run at the roof of Colma Bart garage on sunday afternoons. there's a bunch of ppl that go there every week (weather permitting) I bought the Proline 350z body too... but i messed up cutting the wheel wells.. also, this hobby is freagin expsenive too.. so i haven't had time to fix it up
anyways... here's the hop up parts i got
HPI RS4 3 RTR
dropped a CVR .12 (1bhp) engine
2 speed tranny
fiber disc brakes
HPI headers
CVEC Exhaust pipe
bigger air filter
MX-5 FM radio

I used to, but no time now!!
Playing is fun, but the cleaning and maintenance takes time, and it can get very expensive....
I have an HPI RS4 RTR
Upgraded the exhaust, light weight fly wheel, some aluminum parts.....
Hum.....may be I should clean it and take it out for a run.....

I'm still in it. I have an HPI rs4 and a traxxas truck. I have not maintained it in a while now. I am sure I will have a hard time starting them. Too cold to play outside now.

I haven't touched my t-maxx in a long time. It is a lot of fun, but the money starts to catch up to you.
