Happened this morning
Can you recommend a reliable bodyshop? Any idea about the cost to repair? Preferrably in South bay.

Henry, try Cooks Collision in Dublin. They're one of the best. Another one would be B&S also in Dublin/Pleasanton.

SweatyPalm, don't know much in the SouthBay, but don't use Magnussen.

If its covered under insurance I would recommend Michael J's Body shop in San Jose next door to us.

If not your going to be spending a lot out of pocket

They do, do a great job however and insure their work as well..

StrictlyZ, thanks. I have $500 comprehensive deductible but I'm reluctant to claim my insurance if it does not cost too much over $500. Can anyone here give an estimation?

i took my truck to scd collision recently(from recommendation from another Z owner on this thread) and just got it back a few weeks ago.
i recommend them.
total cost was gonna be like $900 to fix my passenger door.
i have AAA and paid $500.
i am happy with their service. i dropped off my truck and they were able to give me a ride to work which was cool.
pricewise, itll prob get expensive, but theyll do a good job.

I've gone to Kuykendall's before, and they did a pretty good job. Their paint matching was excellent on my pearl colored RSX.
