Has anyone gone to this indoor karting place in burlingame?
i went last night and it was pretty fun. the karts are more powerful than speedring, but their claim on "elevation changes" was disappointing. nonetheless, it was fun, but a trek from the south bay IMO. i'm still saving up to buy myself a kart to kart outdoor tracks.
check it out if you havent:

parking is not really a problem, you should find plenty. i just parked out front. i got in about 17 laps on a daytona session, which is $25 (but first time, you have to buy an annual "license" for $5 and then watch a safety & flagging video. after that, you just bring your license in everytime and you get to skip the video. included with license is also a free daytona session on your birthday, which is nice.)
daytona sessions are just practice session where you try to get your fastest lap.
monaco sessions ($45) are longer, and they run them as a race. you first qualify for positions and then they grid you and then race.
its fun... fastest lap time there so far is 27.xxx... i got 32.045... so, heh, got a ways to go!

We should get a group to go. We've been to SpeedRing a few times, and were planning to go again soon. But I'd like to check this place out too. They have a good idea with the license and only having to watch the video once.
