I have had this for a while, it has held up beautifully. If you want it to look brand new, replace the cushions. They are in good condition, they just need to be cleaned. No rips, no broken straps.
how much do you want man? I need to see what my roommates think.

EDIT: I suck, i didnt click through your craigslist link. lemme see if my roommates are cool with that price and i'll get back to you.

Sadly Im on a time table and cant sit and wait 10-15 days for more parts, I kinda went on trust when I asked how the fitment was before sending The shop is going to do what needs to be done to get them looking good but its gonna be more labor hours outta my pocket. I dont think hes gonna give me compensation for the parts even though they dont fit near close as he stated. Im talking with him currently about the issue.

I learned my lesson though, Im going authentic from now on, since in the end it ends up costing almost the same and theres to much stress and irritation to get replica to work well. I can only imagine how it was when you first got the stuff.

Bummer! My front bumper is a replica (sides and rear are authentic) but I bought it used so fitment was perfect (after I had a few holes drilled lol). I think it may have come from Eric aka klumzyee but I'm not positive. Good luck with getting it to fit properly! I know how frustrating it is.

Yeah i know how you feel, if I could go back and do it all over, I would have just bought the authentic vertex full. This hassle isn't worth it in the long run. I know bob will take care of me and he wont let garbage leave his shop which gives me a level of comfort but with that comfort comes price. I dont blame bob if he has to charge extra to fix crap but he also said if its too much for him to even want to deal with he wont touch it and will let me know so I can make a new decision.

I told him to wait on chopping the fenders until he has all parts in hand and the all are workable. I may end up selling this kit for a loss or asking for my money back and getting the vertex kit. I hope I dont have to go that route but if its whats best then that is the direction I will go in.

New problem, my ac lines wont hold pressure, i am losing about 1psi a min. I can not spot the UV dye anywhere. There is not a visible leak from what I can tell. I dont have a rear bumper to take the car to a shop to get it tested.

My question is, can a compressor leak internally? The dye is going somewhere the only thing I can think of is its going into the compressor. I have charged the line 5 times each time to max pressure, if there was a leak, I would have found it. I have the garage completely blacked out and running the UV light. Nothing. I am perplexed.

Does anyone have a rear bumper lying around that I can borrow so that I can take the car to the shop to get the system tested. I cant put my aftermarket bumper on because of my exhaust. I only need it for a day, hell a couple of hours actually. I have a front bumper just need the rear.

By time i got the car put back together so that its drivable the shop had closed. I am taking the car there first thing monday morning. If your going to be home on monday, when would be a good time to drop by and drop off the bumper?

Oh on another note. Anyone that has a PPW paint job. I have different stages of paint for the car. Its aerosol but it is the exact paint for our car. I used it to paint several parts on the inside of the car. I also have touch up paint in the same paint code as well. Anyone that is interested I will give it to you if you drop by. There are various cans base, mid and clear. Not sure exactly what but there are more than one can. You can order from automotive touchup to get more. Their paint is spot on.

Nice, gave me flash backs from my car being in the shop. How far out did you take the fenders, looks like 30mm?

Little over 1" on inch side...I was tempted to go to around 2" but then he would have had to alter the side skirts. I would have never been able to fill the fender gap if I went that far out either unless I baught new rims which I dont want to do.

Ouch, it bet it was a sad sight to see, as your car drove away. Carlos, the Mercedes C300 is a pretty nice car and its only $33K, not bad for quality.

Oh if anyone wants a FREE 3 dyno pull from CFT, its yours, I won it at a car show and I dont need it since I wont be here to use it, hit me up and drop by and pick it up.
