Default Good claims body shop recommendation?

Hey, noticed that the shipping company got scatches all over my Z while shipping it here, I've put in a claim for it. I need a good body shop to do the estimate, work and will handle the claim from the shipping company. Any suggestions? any military had this problem? where did you go? Thanks.

yeah i had this same problem. I cant remember the name of the exact place, but i will be home in 2 weeks and can get the info then if you want. They were really good. Then i had to take the estimate from them and go back to matson. In the end it took about 2 months to get a check, and it was about $100 less than the estimate i got, but at least i got something.
sorry i couldnt be more of a help

Thanks. How about a Nissan dealership? I'm sure the estimate will be high though.

I wouldn't go through a nissan dealer. I'd recommend GX Autobody or JL Autobody. Both are in the phone book and do good work.

Thanks. I'll give them a call and see if either one would handle the claim/estimate.

if you call GX Auto, ask for mike. he's the owner and he usually doesn't get in till around 11am. the only other people there are his assistant and parents who can't really help you. I don't know if he can bill the shipping company if that's what you are looking for, but he can do an estimate for you by appointment. tell him toby with the orange Z sent you.
