I realize its a long shot, however if some one has got one let me know. I also might be willing to purchase a whole used brake light housing (given the socket is part of the deal). one of my brake lights blew out along with the socket and no one seems to sell just the socket. the dealers have told me that I need to purchase an entire brake housing; they don't sell it seperate.

 

Uhh, how does the socket blow out? Whats wrong with it?

 

not really sure, but I know its the socket. I switched it from side to side and its definately the socket. its not a rare occurance thing either, I've seen more than a few light sockets blow out on cars before. but usually you can just pick up a replacement socket from the dealer. fricken nissan.

 

I could be wrong, but i don't think the housing will come with the socket? That's the part that holds the bulb in and twists into the housing correct? So if you did find this socket, you'd need to wire it in right? Just trying to make sure i know exactly what you're looking for. Hole brake housing are fairly cheap around here and ebay, but i can't recall ever seeing one with the socket as well? Even from Nissan whole sell lists?? Junk yard perhaps??
