who from here is in hawaii, and does anyone know any Z clubs that meet up and cruise??? I'm usually in the forumshawaii.net, and some of us are very interested in making some groups and doing some cruises. Let me know please?

I was going to purchase the APS kit, but Vakamon told me not to, because they don't offer insurance on their kits, and i saw that the numbers go to 386whp just with the kit alone. But I was looking into a Turbonetics kit, but only gives out around 340whp with 1psi more stock boost. Which kit do you recommend, and who installed your kit?? I really wanna order my kit ASAP, and get it running already. Sorry if i ask a lot of questions, but i do this all the time...
Just wanna let everyone know a little about myself:

Age: 25
job: HFD
cars: '06 350Z/ and 97 Turbo Integra GSR
***Let me know if you guys got any cruises coming soon, and when. Thanks

Not really some people post on the boards here a meet or two but hardly any Z's

Go any Twin kit (Greddy prefered), the singles aren't all that and don't leave any room for upgrades. The Turbonetics will put more than 340 almost 400 it's just detuned and very conservative. Talk to Sonic they can help you with your goal. Don't rush F/I talk and make a wise decision.

I personally i would not go with aps, those numbers you posted between aps and turbonetics are junk. I did alot of research before buying my kit (TN) and both kits out of the box will produce about 400hp. I think it is pretty rare for a TN kit to only produce 340hp out of the box. 2nd i would not go to vakamon, i have not heard anything good about them. Seth at Sonics is very good. His shop is usually backed up so it wil take a little while to get installed, but the price and the service are both excellent. 3rd i think there is actually a cruise tomorrow (sunday) but i am not positive.

My greddy TT put out 403.sumthin whp on 7.9psi. and I ran it at 9psi for a bit and it was arround 450whp. The big thing with the kits is your intended power goals. Where do you want to be at in 2 years then go from there.
Thats kinda what I did, and for the exception of 1 G35 thats sponsored by Sonics I think I may have the most engine work. The main thing is getting to where you are happy. So if you want more than 450WHP reliably you need to build the bottom end. If you wanna hang out in the low 400's then your cool with an EMS and bolt on kit. I think red and my self are the only ones with built bottom ends (pipe up if Im wrong).
My self I was looking to the 650ish range so I have the whole bottom end forged, cams, larger valves and over all upgraded valve train, lightened flywheel. Way too much to list out but if you're looking for ideas I can give you a rundown of what I have.
So what are your goals for your car? All show no go, half and half, F-da show lets go, etc....
