Hey, just wondering which local Z owners upgraded their sound systems. I was wondering cause i wanted to know how their system is set up. I'm running Mb Quart QSD 216 components off a jl 300/2 amp. and a aftermarket HU. My front components are in stock location and the metal tweets are extremely harsh (even after professional tuning). I'm not sure if i need to get silk tweeters, or if I just need to place the tweeter elsewhere like in the kick panel.

I'm not interested in door pods or built kick panels, but was wondering how other's have their system set up with the mids at least in the stock door location. Thx for any help you can give with the issue. thx.
