Hey guys, I believe some of you know who Mike Kitchens is (chairman of OMAC). He just posted up on our forum about this...
Regardless if you like him, or the SORT guys, or whatever, we need to get a combined effort together so we can get something. Pass this to all your friends/family and let's flood these ****ers until they give in.

It's not specific to a few people...it's our entire family of racers, drifters, draggers, dirt racers, etc. that will make or break this facility.
For those of you that have attended the meetings we have held and continue to hold, you may remember that we discussed this very issue. And you may remember what we need to make this happen.
We need letters of support. Tons of them. Enough to swamp the politicians in a sea of paper. I would like to have a nice, thick stack of support letters thrown on a few people's desks by the time the Build The Track! Motorsports Show rolls around.
If you want a racetrack, if you want to drift, drag, road race, go-kart, dirt track, whatever again, legally...then you'll take 5 minutes out of your day, and write a letter of support. Take pen to paper and support the developer and our efforts to make this happen. Not an email, as those get discrded and overlooked very quickly.
Please write a letter of support in your own words using the attached letter templates and mail it to:
Michael J. Kitchens (OMAC)
2033 Beckley Street
Honolulu, HI 96819
You may also fax it directly to:
Fax: 259-8421
Here is the request and sample letters:
OMAC Support Letter
Sample Support Letter
Make sure your letters are addressed to no-one, as they will be grouped, copied, and sent to the appropriate responsible agencies needed to make the facility happen. Also ensure that your full contact information is included within the letter. I will post some templates here for you to follow.
Unity = The majority of the motorsports community standing behind this project. Not specific people.
Be a part of the solution, not the problem.

HOMEWORK...
The next meet: Someone bring a bunch of pens and pieces of papers, and everyone take a couple of minutes and just write something. One person bring all the supplies, envelopes, pens, papers, stamps. And everyone else just write. It's soooo easy...
Just an idea, because i'm dying for a racetrack here again. It'll save us a bunch of money from catching the superferry to maui. Maybe, i should just erase this message, and just surprise everyone at the next meet with the pens and papers...
**Every letter we get completed, i will shotgun a beer then and there! Kind of like a fundraiser. Nah, j/k... I'm an idiot. I would probably drink anyways
