so after getting the wheel off. i figured out what was wrong with the car. the WHEEL HUB was pretty much destroyed. now for some pictures. cheers

Looks like the brake rotor cracked not the hub. I remember those having a significant amount of hot spots all over. In fact I can still see the heat damage to the rotor in the picture! Get new brakes!! New tires!!

If your realy hard up for brakes I can sell you mine at cost. I wont be needing them for a while since I will be gone for several months.

I need an answer quick on the brakes though, I will be putting them on some time this week.

Yeah I definately see the hot spots seth was talking about. What the heck were you doing, practicing your panic braking? With hot spots that bad you may look at replacing all your rotors man, who knows what metal fatigue those things have experienced. I havnt seen it brake up that bad since one retartd I I knew back in FL was doing burn outs and decided it was a smart thing to spray his wheels with water (after he had smoked them a good while). You could hear the metal crack.

so heres the plan. im getting a set of new rotors. and a set of new rims and tires i think. tires for sure though. so hopefully that will keep me from killing myself. the hot spots are from excessive tantalus runs.

take it easy now with the power now bro. I don't wanna have to be the one to cut you out of your Z. 500+hp is some fun sh*t now, but you gotta relax off tantalus for a while Just look for that EVO that gave me a hard time and teach him a lesson for me. with new tires.... haha, nah just kidding.
