Hello and good day everyone! I'm actually wondering if there is a track in Hawaii with AUTO X, time attack, and/or justDrift events... i'll be moving there shortly and i want to pick up all the parts necessary for those type of events. (or even a track-only car) But if there is no track... i'll just specify parts for "HIN" events.

any information? i tried google but all i received was that all the tracks were shut down... is that true?

I don't know about the other types of tracks but I was told that there wasn't a drag track, I just left there and I was driving around in the barbers point area and there were signs of LOTS of drifting on the roads way back in a desolate area, right before I saw the tire marks I was thinking how this would be a great place to drift and wamo there were tracks, I move theere this time next year, I am going to build me a s13 or 14 do do some drifting.

 

hmmm.... well i'm not really interested in DRAG but desolate areas are nice. however, i'm more into the "official" type of events and if those are actually out there. i really want to start on a new project car and get some good runs in while i'm over in hawaii for a few years. maybe when i get there, i can start something like that =)

Hawaii Raceway Park

 

Hawaii Raceway Park has been closed for a few years now.
There is a drag strip on Maui which can be accessed via the SuperFerry and there is a new track that is on pace to open on Oahu in the next few years. Currently there are plans for a Autocross course and a Rally course. I do not know of plans to open a drag strip there but I haven't been following it too closely.

Oh also currently there are Autocross Events held in the parking lot of Aloha Stadium monthly.

Well... we're screwed out of Maui Raceway now. No more Super Ferry for God knows how long.

All we need to do is get the damn hippies complaining about the lack of an EIS to STFU and we'll be good. The ferry is heading back to mainland as of now, which ufcking BLOWS.

No one ever complains about the other ships (like the giant Matson ones). Maybe we should stop them from running between the islands as well.
