So, I went out to an FD meet last night and ran into a guy (Derrick?) with a Redline Z. Looked completely stock except for the louvers on side windows. Anyways, he said he was making 700 whp on 30psi. He was running what appeared to be a Turbonetics single kit. Anyone know him?

I'm just hoping I'm wrong on the details. I don't like being a dck about it, but that wasn't the only part that was interesting. I asked what kind of fuel management he was running and he said just a chipped ecu... Yeah... Someone here in Hawaii must know him (true claims or not).

 

700 horses on 30 PSI... Either this guy has one hell of a bottom end built, or his Flux Capacitor has the ultimate upgrade. Definitely staying tuned for this one...

I mean its possible...Im running 60psi and have 1200Whp...and I have a stock motor...with ball bearing blinker fluid...

700whp...I don't count anything out anymore. People have come back from deployments and dumped entire fortunes on their car. Or they'll live in a shack and dump all of their BAH and COLA into a car.

I bought a new pair of Nikes, now I can run faster...And I put in a new nav system which bumped my HP +30... I can't wait to see the dyno results after I put in new speakers... yup i'm thinking +25 HP for each speaker, that's why i'm gonna put in 2 doors and 2 rears....

 

I know the guy. He works in the audio/ detailing shop at the nex. He told me that he was pushing 800 off the turbonetics turbo. I figured he was spraying aswell, cause no way is he pushing 800 with turbonetics and chipped ecu. He told me he wasn't spraying but from the switches I seen in the car and from what I heard led me to think otherwise. But ya the guy is a pretty cool guy none the less...check it out for yourself. O he also said he is a turbonetics distributor.... So being that the 4th of July show is comin up, go get your car detailed at the nex, talk to him n check out the 700/800 whp z. And if your convinced buy your 700/800 whp making turbonetics kit from him.

Yeah, I me him. As Jorge said, he works at the NEX audio/detailing, looks like a civ (beard) so don't think IRAqi money had anything to do with financing his mods...His car is always parked there. I've heard of the 700whp story but never asked or looked under the hood.

 

Turbonetics distributor? The closest one of those is in Cali. As for the power claims, theres really no need to comment on that one.

 

Yes this guy works at the NEX. I meet him and He told me he had a stroker block, sleeved and a nos shot and it hads 700+on spray. So I ask him to let me see it. I seen the nos and the turbonetics kit with the stock 60 trim and stock intercooler and piping. Then on top of that, he said he drifts it. Ya lol. I read so much on turbos Z's and There no way in hell hes making that power with that set up I seen. no one ever made that kind of power with that kit. that kit just cant flow that much with the stock piping.

 

lol if he's pullin off 700 whp on a single turbo kit and chipped ecu... i should trade in my utec and twin turbo kit so i can gain 700whp cuz hell that 200whp more than me... then again i'm only tuned for 11psi lol

i talk to this guys before. i ask him if he ever go in forums and he say he dont like forums, and then i ask him about his car and even my wife laugh at his face when he say turbonetics.
