Wiamea Beach park on North shore is a nice place, but parking is crazy! The Beach at Sharks Cove is nice also. Theres a bunch more local beaches on north shore.

Yeah, the North Shore has a lot of nice beaches. If you don't feel like driving out there, Lanikai is a nice beach that is pretty close to town.

if you are in the navy, which judging by your queer screen name (no offense i call it like i see it), you are look into the cabins on either bellows or the kaneohe marine corps base. If those arent available check out the halekoa. I personally dont like staying in waikiki but the halekoa is a good deal. As far as beaches go to kailua, bellows, lanikai, or the northshore.

If you don't feel like going out there and you have base access. Hit the beach on Hickam AFB. Nice, quiet, clean beach, clear water...but bad for surfing, no waves at all.

Parking gets pretty rough on the weekend out on the North shore, especially if you decide to head that way after 11. Anything from Kailua to Sandy's pretty good (sandy's being kinda rough) For what its worth the water in town and hickam kinda nasty.
