So apparently, I tore a hole in my exhaust tonight... It's on the driver's side, before the canister... Only thing I can think of, is I went over the steel plates that they put down, when they do construction on the road and did it that way.
Is that something I can complain to the city about? I know back home, under certain circumstances the city can be held liable for damages to your vehicle...
Anybody know a quick and easy way to fix my exhaust, or am I dreaming? And I was supposed to have my headers installed tomorrow... WTF!?!?

I'm assuming that your car is lowered, did you get recon?? I'm no expert or anything, but I can see this going bad for you. If it's lowered and you do not have recon, I can see the city/state/hpd saying that your car was unsafe and shouldn't have been on the roads and that you're SOL.
Hopefully the damage wasn't too bad, hope everything works out for you. Yes, Oahu's roads suck

^^^Take pics and measurements. Write a letter to the construction company about the damages. Hopefully they will reimburse you for the damages. Document everything with pictures and in writing.
Good luck.

Thanks, I'll get right on that. Only concern I have now, is the hole was already fixed. Sonic noticed it, and welded it for me, so I don't have a "before" pic.
usually an inexpensive repair is a cash job..
find a mom and pop shop, not midas or anything like that..
