hmm yeah...it shows a lot lot lot more detail than my 550 can...
but hows the shutter lag on the g7? I remember the shutter lag on one of my first digicams when they first came out was like...HELL. My 550's is bearable but yeah...

check out cnet.com and dpreview to find more info and reviews. the shutter lag on the G7 is 0.5 seconds

no....

on the sd550 it's 0.7 not .07 lol...you misread

G7 is quicker by 0.2 seconds....therefore yours is slower and obsolete >____<

If you're at least a bit serious about this, get a REAL camera and get DSLR.
I would recommend Nikon D40. It's entry level DSLR that's easy to use and GREAT performance for the price.

Below is a sample pic of my car taken with my D40(made it black&white on PS, but that's it).
