d50 n00b
i just bout my d50 from a friend about 2 weeks ago. been playing with it a lil here and there but not too much. about a year ago i had a powershot point and shoot that i learned how to adjust settings on but i am rusty, despite my rustyness i have gotten a few decent pics.
all suggestions, comments and any help would be really appreciated!

I like the execution with the pics, specially #5. My recommendation would be, try to use photoshop or any program like that as little as possible. Thy will add noise to the picture if you use it too much.
I think your ISO was higher than 200.

99.99% of the time, my camera never leaves its lower ISO. I would find other ways around it to get the shot I want.

Since you have access to all the settings in the exif data for the image, you can take the same picture with different settings and compare them later. I have found this to be a pretty good learning tool. It will certainly help you figure out your particular camera, since every model works a little differently (different sensors and software in the camera).
If you can, maybe try shooting RAW + Jpg, but work towards getting the best jpg shot that you can. If you shoot both then you can mess around with the RAW image as much as you like.
