Cool. My mom lives in Bangkok now. I was born there. Last I visited Thailand was in 1999 before me and the missus started having kids. We've been discussing the costs of going back to visit and introduce my kids to the country.

When I do have kids I will deffinitely take them there. America doesn't have nearly the culturwe or history as Thailand. The plane ride sucks there but worth every minute... It's going to be weird seeing the damage done after the Tsunami though. It's not like here where it's cleaned up in a few days.

Just be sure to take them when they're old enough not to pick everything up and put it in their mouth. My wife is afraid of that happening. When I went to Thailand, it was gorgeous and brought back so many memories. I really want to go back soon, but those tickets are so damn expensive! It's almost a full 24 hour trip from start to finish.

BTW, that's a nice sig. Reads like you have a nice Z, and a PPW to boot! I also have an 03 PPW but the Touring edition.

Yea I don't think I would take them till they're older just so I don't need to hear them bickering/complaining for a whole day! Thanks yea the Z is coming along I can't stand the stock system but I heard the Bose isn't that much better...

Nice pics! I was there a year ago. Loooong trip. I brought my 9 and 12 year old daughters. They had enough gadgets to keep them busy.

I miss Thailand. I was there in 2004 for Thai/Lao new year. I finally met my grandparents and all of my relatives from my mom side for the first time in my life. Then we went to Vientiane in Laos to visit some of my dads friends.

ni$mo, nice shots. Looks like the weather was perfect when you went.

My fiancee and I are planning on going in July... do you have pointers and suggestions?

I was also wondering if you can help me out with these:
-Are domestic flights within Thailand cheaper than booking them in the states via travelocity, expedia, orbitz...? (I am thinking of going from Bangkok to Phuket)
-Do you recommend cities and areas that are a must?

Anything helps, thanks in advance for your response.
