There is a lighting seminar coming to Los Angeles Oct. 4th and 5th.

THis would be great for those who want to hone their skills, professionally or as a hobby.
The nice thing about Strobist is they tend to emphasize not on expensive equipment, but rather technique and out of the box solutions to lighting.
It is a 2 day seminar that usually sells out. Last time they charged $159 which sounds like a deal to me.
