well that would be nice. How about attaching your laptop to the unit to make the changes the dealer allows? Do we get a cable?

I'm sure the software will be out soon. They keep adding features and tweaking the software, which is causing the delay. They just want to make sure it's fully operational when released.

If I take delivery of the unit next week with the initial tune and I change a few things before I actually install it, how will I get the initial basemap changed? Would it be an email to upload to the unit from intense?

Yessir. I just talked to Pete about it. Its gonna be setup with my 700cc injectors. I pretty much got the whole PRO EFI package..with wideband, fuel, boost, and all the sensors that can be added to it..along with the CAN guage(as soon as its ready) He said they can do a basemap that is pretty damn close to what the final result is going to be. It will be safe to actually break in my new motor on this tune(it will only be about 7psi) which will be good so I can put 100 miles on it before I bring it to turbotrix in NJ to make sure everything is working properly and to seat the rings for the most part.

Well, we've done about 12 ProEFI's so far ( some on supra's some on vq's) Today we loaded a map to the ProEFI 48 box on a built SP TT G35, and she fired right up

We'll be using/installing the race 128 pin box on our car in the next week or so.

Good stuff!

Very cool! Were any of those switching from a different ECU? If so, can you share the differences in power level on the same setup? Also, what has your experience been like as far as tuning goes?

even EMSs that have cam control usually leave the stock ecu settings alone. there isnt much to gain

I think he meant you wouldnt make much if any by controlling the cams with the PEFI as opposed to using the stock ECU.

Exactly what Snyper said... Silver was trying to say you won't gain much more in tuning with it the ProEFI controling the cams over the stock ECU.
