Julian stated that 100ms is good for beginners.
PLUS you have a rev limiter.

There is nothing that could prevent you from messing up your own shift like that. The rev limiter will probably be adequate since it won't mechanically overrev the engine like if you put it into 2nd instead of 4th.
I'm sure you've missed a gear at some point in your life, so you know what happens

If you mis-shift thats on you and will not make a difference with or without the box.

ok, i gotta ask cause i'm curious... why ignition cut and not fuel cut?
Any concern about fouling plugs with excess fuel? Or too little to be an issue?
With the Haltech, you can ignition cut or fuel cut for a rev limiter, and mine is set to fuel cut, I think for the reason stated above, but would love to hear thoughts on this also.
(kudos for bringing an innovative product to the Z/G community! )

By cutting igntion and keeping the fuel on,it will act as an anti lag system....... since it will dump some raw fuel into the exhaust and once that happens, the fuel will ignite causing the turbo to stay spooled

im sure jay/julian will be happy to answer technicial questions i have been dealing with jay@n2mb for over 2 years now with my car and have quite a bit invested, 0 complaints, anything this guy made for the car i'd put on no questions asked, he would never put a product out that wasnt 100% tested & safe for people to use.
as far as using the 2 step on an automatic, i have no idea lol im just a customer of n2mb and mrc who can vouch for both... im sure julian & jay will be able to provide you with an answer in a timely fashion...
