I am going to drop my car back off to him this week though, so maybe he can get all of this fixed up.

Good to know. I will ask him about adding this functionality. I don't think he's far away. I'll be taking the car either to his shop or his employee's house.

Well my car has been a nightmare from the beginning. Some of the issues have been resolved now. I guess I'll wait for the updates mentioned above before I give an updated list of problems with the software, since some of them may be resolved with the updates.

Well...did you get your car over to Jason to update the software? Any feedback? What do you think?

Picked the car up this afternoon. The car is running really well and it obviously has MUCH more power! If it weren't pouring rain, I'd be out driving all night tonight! I'll be at Firebird tomorrow to see what it can really do!

There are some new features added that are very cool. The Engine HP (crank) readout is cool and ET Estimator are awesome. The idle is now smooth. Start up is quick and consistent. I get back fire when decelerating in a lower gear/higher RPM. That may be an exhaust leak, and is probably not a tuning issue. I'll have that looked at later.

/\ /\ /\ Do you have the 48 pin or 128 box? Did you have any traction control tuning done, or did you have it activated?

Overall, satisfied? 9/10 or 10/10 very happy? What is missing at this point? if anything

Thanks for feedback.

I have the 48 PIN. I would say 9/10. The car drives great now and is putting down enough power to literally scare me last night as I got on the freeway and gunned it. I need some DR's for the street even on low boost now! Being that the car starts and idles like stock and drives in "D" automatic mode like stock, I'd say I'm very happy. There are bumps that I hit during this process that were related to the EMS, but they have all been worked out now. I also had mechanical issues, so I can't just point at one thing for the issues I had over the last 2 years. I need some more time behind the wheel and some track time (tonight!) to give impressions on everything.

Planning on a dyno soon. The Trap should give us a very good idea of the power tonight. Come out to Firebird, if you can. I'll be there around 7.

Yeah, $10 for spectators and $5 for parking.

Might as well just pay $5 more and go racing, at the least you'll get VIP parking in the lanes, lol

So is launch or traction control set up? Is it something you have to dial in at the track?

From what I understand its either on or off, not really any kind of in between.

Yeah. I already have a switch installed to disable the 101 brake light switch to allow me to do burn outs. Larry told me that if I wanted to, he could link the traction control into the same switch, because if you think about it...how on earth would I even be able to do a burn out with the traction enabled 100% of the time.
I just haven't gotten confirmation that the 48 pin box is capable of this feature. Hoping for some good news on that topic. May still be in the software development stage though.

AS of right now, the 48 pin units cannot do traction control until the can signal from the factory is deciphered. Once the 48 ECU can read the wheel speed off of the factory can signal, the traction control will work. Jason is planning on hiring someone just to decipher this code.

Not yet, the install is probably not going to go down for another two or three months, need to get a clutch, flywheel, differential bushings...got to pay back the savings account and setup an emergency motor build fund too, lol...

Not too bad. A few hiccups, and of course I only get 1 run, then booted. I posted the information here:

Im just worried about the injectors not being up to the job on E85... I think they would be fine on 110 for high boost. Any thoughts?

850s on E85 will only make about 600 RWHP!!

Get some 1200s !!
