Do you think he will allow you to post pics of their f**k ups?

Who put in the engine Mike Knop?

What did the person who gave him his keys have to say about the noises?

I will ask the customer.

Who put in the engine Mike Knop?

I dont know.

What did the person who gave him his keys have to say about the noises?

It was a guy washing the new owner of VRTs car. She wasnt their. VRT wanted him to pay another $5000 to pick up his car and the Germans buddy was smart enough to mention the serials number of the engine not matchng the chasis and them not being able to get past customs in Germany and not be able to get TUV certification. He wanted to see the engine in Ed Reisners car because supposedly Ed Reisners car has the Germans sleeved blcok. All of a sudden the keys were handed over and no money was asked for. Ed Reisners car was smoking so bad and burning oil so much and kocking to the point you could hear it from a 100 yards away. It is a complete joke. Yes Ed, your car will be the biggest pile of dog doo to come ou of VRT yet! Sorry. I know you probably dont want to hear that and I know you are an innocent bystander in all this but it is the truth.

I was at JWT wednesday looking for information about upgrades, after finding out I had a VRT install they wanted to have a look, they pointed out quite a few things that were done wrong in the fittment area. I asked them about VRT and was told that VRT was GIVEN two separate TT kits for installation into cars for magazines, I suppose that's how they get press about their kit's, anyway they filed charges as the TT kits didn't go where they were supposed to be going.

This whole situation sounds like a freeking engine swapping part swapping pyramid scheem, when it fell apart all the good stuff was funneled away by VRT for the next start-up, UNBELIEVEABLE and I got wrapped up in it at the end. I am now glad that I was in there everyday looking at my car, I never saw the engine that was in the FX35 before or after it was taken out, I only saw my old engine in it. So I guess I need to believe it is in fact the same engine. The car runs good, no oil leaks, not smoking or burning oil, I saw them put the clutch in and it was NEW JWT clutch/flywheel. The car runs strong, LOTS of power when just warmed up, drops off a little when heat soaked but a solid 10-11 lb boost, daily driving it 150 miles or more, 10K since the install.

My point was that the engine cover on the german car actually IS the engine cover that I bought from Minn, actually I really didn't want it because I didn't want anything on my car that said vrt, I peeled the VRT sticker off while it was still in their shop, soon as I saw it.

Honestly, with all thats gone down and the amount of money that has been lost, im kind of surprised no one has put a bullet in Mr A. Not that a 50cent slug would solve the problems, but itd send a helluva message.

I hope Mr A loses his house, shop, car and loved ones(not death, but divorce or non speaking terms) over this. He needs to feel the pain in the wallet and in life. Its sickening hearing how he and his shop screwed so many people out of their hard earned money.

We also found out that the parts in this engine were defintiely out of the yellow VRT race car (i dont suspect you lie at all , but did you come to the conclusion). So we estimate that he paid close to $40K and he honestly has about $3K of usable parts. Most of that is in the carbon doors. The carbon hatch is f*cked and the lexan install was botched up horribly.VRT told him to come pick up the car when he arrived here and we went to Mike A's house(he was nowhere to be found) and so we start the car and it is making all sorts of noises. So we turn it off and tow it to the shop. Put it on the lift and take a quick look......oil everywhere, stock axles, stock exhaust, stock G35 diff, driveshaft bolts only tightened with fingers! no oil cooler, nothing else really except the turbo system was there. So we pull the motor and find out the clutch is JWT and not a $2800 Carbonetics tiple disc, the 850 turbos compressor wheels are chewed up.Start dissassembling the motor and find out their is aluminum shavings in the exhaust ports, find out the cams are pretty much junk, the heads are trashed, the oil squirters bolts were all loose and one of them backed out and was bouncing around in the bottom-end cracking a piston, smashing up the block and damaging the crank OMFG .No darton sleeves, just a stock block that is preety much done with.Oh but they put a VRT Carbon engine cover on their I would advice you to take your Carbon VRT cover off of your car and burn it unless you want to be one of the people who still supports VRT.

no way.... someone must know where this guy mR As$ is... he needs to get another as$hole ripped

TIm i know you proably took pics all all this... can you share them plz?

Ed Reisner was VRT's model customer. He and VRT were close friends.

I doubt Eagle1 knew anything about what was going on. He seems like a pretty decent guy.

We should start watching EBAY for parts popping up.

One thing I will say after this "soap opera" is that I thought JWT was very selective about who sells and installs the JWT Twin Turbo kit.

As they had a very close working relationship to the accused in these forums, and to my understanding, are physically close to the "scene of the crime", and again, according to what I have read in these forums, have tuned VRT installs, it really makes me wonder - were they just "blind" or what? I understand JWT has a great reputation, but they should have noticed bad installs etc if they were tuning these cars. And for sure, I have to wonder about how well they check out the dealers/installers.

Just a thought.

The biggest part of VRT selling to VRT was Mark B (now with relentless). HE is the reason VRT was able to start up at all and got involved with JWT. From what I have read, when he left and VRT started hiring retards to do the work for them, I dont think JWT was tuning for them anymore (Hence the great tune ROADSTER got). I am sure that was done by Michael Alvarez himself.

The work that was done by Mark B at the begining was top notch and remains so today with the work he is doing at relentless.

You are exactly right, Mark B was the reason why I took my car down there.
