Ok, so the "brains" behind the operation left, leaving the scam artist, who did this damage in a few months. Starts to make sense to me. Thanks.

Well, if that is your engine in his FX, he's not having such a great time with it. Not saying anything about your engine, I'm just saying VRT did a hack job on his...
I don't know what the hell VRT did it to my FX when they were swapping my TT+engine with other guys engine...but ye...I will let you know once I get my FX back from the dealership.
(there's more to it but I'll just leave it at that... point is he hasn't been driving the FX in a lil while...)

that pretty much sums it all up. I would only trust 5 people in the US to work on my car now. Mark B, Sam @ GT, TurboTIM, Julian and Sharif.

edit: I missed turbo Tim on accident.

Crazy, crazy stuff........

Probably would be good for everyone to send emails to the guys at Nissan Sport and let them know how you feel. Don't think we need any reference to VRT whether in an ad, in a story, or on the side of Ed's car.........

Emails:

daveo@nissansportmag.com

davidm@nissansportmag.com

Yes this is very true. When Mark B was there, everything was going really well for VRT and they were building top notch cars, got hooked up with JWT,getting some real tuning doneby Jim and Clark,etc.....when Mark B left it went downhill very quickly. JWT, did not realize that things were going to take a turn for the worse. JWT is always busy and they really dont have the time to go and "check-up" on the shops they have authorized as an install facility. After hearing a few horror stories JWT figured out what was happening and revoked VRT's status as a dealer, installer or anything else to do with JWT. Jim has also put SFR on the list of authorized dealer and installer of JWT turbo systems

Lol. I really never guessed that we'd be talking about someone called "The German". Seems like a bad movie or something...

The name suits him, this guy is big enough to be Germany himself.

I understand JWT has a great reputation, but they should have noticed bad installs etc if they were tuning these cars. And for sure, I have to wonder about how well they check out the dealers/installers.

Just a thought.
I think Jim was involved heavily when scott and mike B were there. He was definitly pissed when he saw the tune that mike A put on my car. In fact he gave me the tuning software and a 2 hour class on how to tune the right way with r4.

Gave you the software and a two hour tuning class? He should have just retuned your car in those two hours.

On what? I already tuned it better that what mike did. Made 10 more whp out of just the timing. I saved the map that mike did and showed it to him. I guess he wanted a really consevative tune on my car because he started pulling timing at 2500 rpm. Wasen't good at all and it was costing me gas milage. Jim just showed me the proper way to use the software. ( guess I should have clarified that before) But fyi It takes a lot longer than 2 hours to properly tune a car and even more to fix some one elses **** up.
