LOL!!! I have no intention of calling JWT. I only wanted to express my opinion in this thread about JWT's response (lack thereof) to the community about what has happened with VRT. I would like to see JWT be more involved and engaging with the community they make parts for. Sorry if that offends you.

In your conversation with Jim, did he shed any light on why he/JWT has remained so quiet about the whole VRT mess?

Your so freaking right!
MR. A was a smooth talking guy who took advantage of everyone involved; he let money get the best of him. But believe you me, if I buy a product from Wal-Mart and it turns our to be a piece of _ _ _ _, I’m not going to expect the manufacturer to personally apologize, Wal-Mart will do that for them. Who took the blame win ENRON took the fall? The blame would lie on the people who ripped off the community. Mr. A just followed their [ENRON] example, took the money in ran.
I have signed up to this forum specifically to respond to the postings I have seen on this thread. The funny part is, the two people who were the most upset by JWT's lack of a "forum" response had no parts from JWT or VRT listed on their mods...brings up the question of why they are so upset?
Now just because you haven't read a public response from the members of JWT doesn't mean there isn't a public response. Jim Wolf has clearly stated his position on the matter, that sounds like a public response to me. Just like any other release about a situation such as this, just call and he’ll tell you how he feels. That's a public response; a non-public response would be the nice receptionist saying..."Jim Wolf is out of the office, would you like to leave a message."
The Staff at JWT, I'm relatively positive, is to busy creating bada_s Turbos, ECUs, "Pop Chargers", and other high tech gadgets, to come play "LOOK AT ME" on this [excellent might I add] forum.
The End....Peace Out, tHeNiGhTwInD

Got an email reply from dragsport:
Our spam filters on our importdrag.com email accounts haven’t been letting any mail directed to the dragsport.com addresses to be fowarded for the past three months. We were unaware of this problem until last week. We apologize for the long delay in getting back to you. While the email problem is supposedly fixed, you can be sure to avoid future delays by sending mail to me at mike@importdrag.com.
As for VRT, if they are ripping off customers, we hope to see them pay the price. The last thing our industy needs is a shady shop that rips off customers. Our industry has had these in the past and they’ll always be more of them in the future. Fortunately, the advent of ineternet forums will hopefully lessen the impact that a fly-by-night shop can have on our tuning community. An internet forum can get the word out immediately while a national magazine will take three to four months.
For the record, the VRT car was not running at the photo shoot. Tanner’s AEM 350Z wasn’t running either at the time of the photoshoot. Since a number of cars that we place on the cover are involved in motorsports, we’ve had two or three that were not running since we started the magazine 62 issues ago. However at the time of the shoot, we had heard no mention of any shady business practices from VRT.
As for DSport having a crappy reputation and being considered a joke, I would hate to hear what is said about our competition.
