I am just surpirsed that a magazine would write it is all. Nothing behind it, I guess maybe I figured that a magazine would want to air their mistakes. But, it also makes sense to inform readers about their mistakes to teach them. It is a two way street, on one hand you want your readers to trust what you do and say in your articles and by admitting that you were wrong in putting trust in a shop they may lose some credibility. But on the flip side readers know that if a mistake is made the magazine would let people know and stand by what they have said or retract it.

Just my opinion.....glad things are done with that chapter of modding Z's and G's.

By the way....
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Yes, I am....I am assuming you are talking about me. Is there a problem with that? I was debating about whether to keep it or not, and I have decided not to. I am going to be moving and want to get into shifter kart racing so my son can be exposed to that at an early age. I will be posting a thread about my car in the Marketplace when I have some time after the holidays. If anyone wants info in the meantime just PM me....sorry for the OT comment there.

I dont need to do anything under the radar. My car is strong never had any problems and I push it hard. Yeah it runs a little hot at the track after 15 or 20 minutes, but that is what a lot of people have happen when you are in 100+ degree heat and driving your car that hard for that long. You guys are too funny, you think that because I am selling my car I am trying to hide something? If you guys are so convinced that VRT always did such crappy work then why dont you all chip in and buy it to tear it apart somewhere to see what is and what isnt in my car. Mark Brent did the work on my car and I have never had any issues. Please dont make this into an issue, I posted here because I was wondering about that comment from a magazine article.

If you guys want to question my motives about selling my car why dont you ask me instead of assume something and put something here that isnt true. If what you are assuming was the case I would have put the car up for sale a while ago. The fact is I am moving and could use a little extra cash and I want to get a shifter kart.

Now, why dont we get back on topic here???

Why dont you buy it then and tear it apart and tell everyone what you find. You will find that as unfortunate as it was at the end there are some very good cars that came out of VRT and mine is one thanks to Scott at Relentless and Mark Brent.

I am one of the examples of what Scott is talking about. Im sure everyone who has followed the shady dealings of VRT is aware of my thread and what happened to me. The first time I had gone to the shop to give Mr. A more money was when I first met Scott. He was there working and I was waiting around for MrA to show up. He was asking me what I was having done and how much I was paying. As soon as I told him he said I was being taken. Of course I couldn't say anything while MrA was still in the picture out of respect for Scott and not wanting to put him in hot water. He insisted that I talk to MrA about my outrageous prices and settle it, but MrA already had my money so I didn't want to argue with MrA until I had the work done.

Even when he was still with VRT near the end he informed me that MrA was raping me for what I was having done. Since then he has been very receptive to answering my questions and helping me out in anyway possible. Scott had nothing to do with my car being a complete rip off (that was all MrA behind his back.) Scott is a stand up guy and is very honest.

Please explain 2 things...
1) why would Scott go behind his bos/partners back to tell one of his customers he was being ripped off?Sounds very unprofessional to me.And I would have beat feat the second that comment was made to me..

2)Scott has been confirmed as part owner in VRT, so how would he have no idea what was going on with peoples cars?

To me it sounds as if one party wanted to break off from the other and start their own business, and did it by badmouthing their current partner..
There definitely are alot of fact left out and yet to be discovered I would assume..

He was doing it because he is a lot more honest than his former partner who was ripping me off. He has said a million times that is why he left. MrA was doing stuff to others just like he did to me and Scott wanted no part in it.

By telling me I was getting ripped off and I need to confront Mike about it was taking money out of his pocket too as part owner. Having integrity and being honest was more important to him than having his pockets lined with stolen money from Mike. I think that was a very professional move. So you would just keep quiet and keep the dirty money that your partner stole rather than try to make things right Julian? THAT is very unprofessional in my eyes.

Also, Scott was a minority partner in the arrangement too. MrA was the largest owner and im sure there were other things that went on behind Scotts back. Just because he was part owner doesn't mean he knows everything the big boss is doing.

Just for the record, your not 100% sure what kind of arrangement was taking place at VRT correct? So hypothetically, all partners could have been involved, and found out one partner was stealing more money than the other minority shares..Correct?

Well at that point Mr A already had all of your money right? What did the other VRT partners do to help you confront and recover your money at that point?

Nice out of context response to me. See the problem is, me and my partner are 100% honest with our customers and each other, and we all know whats going on. To be a partner share of a company and have ZERO clue whats going on is the most unprofessional, negligent thing I can think of..The would be no DIRTY money at MRC in the first place. Its called ethics..And IF I ever had caught my partner ripping of customers, it would be handled behind closed doors, not to a customer and in front of him.But it would be rectified before it got to that point, trust me..

Well from what Scott has posted previously, he was never a partner or involved in the company, and only worked there..Now were finding out from people he was indeed a partner, but had no clue what was going on You ecpect us to believe that one?

There's a lot of interesting facts that keep popping up... Just out of curiosity, does anyone here have any insight into the current litigation that Mr. A is involved in?
