Dynoing should always be done in the closet to 1:1, unless you run into traction problems when you should select a higher gear.

But hey, whatever floats your boat right?

- Install Time
- Maintenance Required
- Component Accessibility
- Power Potential
It's less costly to install the single, it's easier to maintain, nearly everything is accessible and easy to get to incase anything were to go wrong. Or if you wanted to run a boost controller, change a wastegate spring, swap on a GT42R etc.

. It is quite a bit larger then the 76S.
This might have been covered, but I will ask anyways. You posted up pictures of a new block and internals. Are you rebuilding this motor before the stock sleeves give out?

If this motor pops we have a couple of other spares that we can get sleeved.

All in good time sir. Again, this testing process is multi-purpose. Both PowerLab and ProEFI are gathering empirical data for their various products. Intense Motorsports was contracted by both companies to conduct said testing and is not directly affiliated with either company. That said, unlike other companies that produce one-off kits, these products are/will be sold to the public in the very near future. To that end, they/we would like to know the failure point of the stock sleeves. At 900whp/735 the sleeves are still alive.
As Jorge stated, there are plans to build and install an NHRA spec 9-second cage, parachute, etc in the G and put it on the track. This is not our first rodeo (I love saying that ****..) as we have built, tuned, and piloted several 9-second street cars. However, this is not our first priority, so be patient -- all things come out in the wash..
As far as your (I hope rhetorical) question regarding other twin turbo kits that have been on the market for a good minute and have yet to achieve what we quickly achieved, why WOULDN'T you want to see what the capabilities of a stock cranked, stock sleeved VQ35de is? What are the disadvantages of collecting this data? I've been in several 1000whp+ street cars and will tell you that once you've experienced this you won't ask that question again.
Darren (states that the nature of power is that you always want more)
