PowerLab: Stage 5 Turbo Kit/ProEFI ECU/Intense 797WHP **Video**
is that even streetable, what kind of lag does that monster come with?
Nevermind, I see its just for drag. My friend went single turbo on his R34 Skyline GT-R and ripped it out because he said he couldn't drive it on the street.

THis si aalso why I want to see what rpm's the power I speaking at and how much power is dropping off up top. the 3.3FD was a sacrifice I was willing to make and havent regretted. Id like a non biased driving review from a knowledgable member-no offense OP. Anybody in MD slated to get one?
is tengai close? i think he is doing to do the stage 1.5(gt37r)

depends on the turbo size too..... again... if you are too concerned with that you have the stage 1 good to 650s who.. stagt 1.5 good to 700 whp....

Also the reason the turbo is laggy is because we found a huge exhaust leak this morning nearly expelling the entire left bank of exhaust energy. We're fixing it as we speak and should be back on the dyno tomorrow to see what this 76mm turbo will do!

I can't wait to see what the car puts down once this leak is fixed!!! What time are you guys going to put it back on the dyno tomorrow??? I'm going to try to be there!

To everyone else, thanks for getting this thread off-topic
And the funny thing about some of the replies, is that it's almost identical to how supra guys were acting 5-6 years ago when big single kits started coming to the market. And the most comical thing is how many Supra's are running large single turbo's now?

Plus, my iForged wheels are finally finished and might arrive tomorrow!!!
So I have another reason to be there!
This was also with a non BB turbo, but some say its makes a difference and some say it doesnt.
About the supra gearing...its really not that much different then ours if we shift at 7 and and they shift at 7. My friend on his 6speed supra revs to 8 and shifts into 4th at around 100.

Gearing has NOTHING to do with spool time, nor powerband. If you want to compare time to rpm, or acceleration time, the Z has it over the supra, plain and simple. I owned a Supra for 5 years. The stock 6spd supra has a final drive of 3.17, the Z is 3.50. To make a turbo feel less laggy, you need to get to rpm quicker, the Z does this better than the Supra because of the shorter gearing. BUT WHO CARES! The point is, if you want to make 1000hp, you need a big enough turbo, with a big enough turbo comes more "lag" and I use the quotes because lag is a relative thing. You are still making more power everywhere over a stock car, and I would rather have 1000hp, than 250hp. If you want real low end power and your satisfied with 500hp, why not drive a Z06 corvette and have 500'lbs of torque as soon as your foot hits the floor? I really don't think that when Intense made this kit that they really cared about low end power...do you?
