Just wondering, what was the total cost of this project? Materials, installs & tuning?

Julian, these guesstimes, do they apply to the stock final drive cars, or you consider the final drive ratio as well?
In other words, same Vortech setup in a 5AT, by approximately how much would a 3.55 pumpkin swap improve the 1/4 mile numbers?

I bought everything used. And even though I did that, I probably spent well over 1500 over what I originally planned on spending. Install on the vortech kit was fairly simple. It's just the extra stuff I had to buy to get it working that was the problem. (I.E Utec, injectors, and a bunch of other things that the kit was missing upon purchase).

Buying a used kit is a gamble. I originally wanted to stick with the SS box and stock injectors but issues that occured prevented me from keeping em. It's okay though because I was going to upgrade them later on down the road for reliability.

I believe everything new would be roughly:

$4500+ for the vortech kit
$800+ for utec + map sensor
$500+ for bigger injectors
$800+ for dual exhaust
$400+ for high flow cats
$200+ for the plenum or spacer
$200+ for gauges and such

and if necessary, 450+ for an upgraded clutch.

As far as tuning and installation goes, that depends on your tuner.
