Default Forged Performance: Just completed...716whpDD/877whpDJ VQ35 TT

This project has been a long time in the works. Initially, our job was to rehabiliate this vehicle, which had been at another shop for a while, and install a Greddy TT kit, and GTM built motor. After hitting nearly 600whp with the TT setup, the customer decided he wanted something with a LOT more power.

So we opted for the big Sound Performance TT kit. While waiting on the kit, we sent the car, sans engine and drivetrain, back to the customer, so he could install a Top Secret widebody kit. So here are the final results at 28psi. There was definately a little more power to be had, if we didn't run out of fuel.

With the big low mounted turbos, there isn't a whole lot going on below 4000rpm, but things get really interesting at 5000rpm to redline. I took it over to the local dynojet to get some comparison numbers. Seems like after 700whp, our DD gets even stingy'er with the numbers.

Special thanks to Anthony for being incredibly patient with us, and Chris and Larry at SP for helping us work through a few bugs and misc issues.

I remember when I dropped my car off originally, this car had just gotten to the shop. I've been anxious to see this project's results for a while, but it was worth the wait. Great job guys .

Would it be possible for you to post any details about the engine, heads, and cams, or is that "Top Secret" (pun intended)?

I started seeing pressure flutter even at 650whp DD....the pressure drops got worse from there.

Do you guys plan on upgrading the fuel to a CJM twin pump? or leaving it at its current state? Nonetheless great work once again from forged.

**I want to see more boost!?**

They are not 67s, I guarantee that..... Id have to check the records but I am sure they are between 58 and 61 mm.

We have only done one set of 67s.... and they are on my car. Big pain to make them fit as the housings are bigger.

Larry is correct. these are 61's. We could not fit the 67's in the same covers. We have 67's going on our car and they needed some "modding" to fit.

The 61's will flow 600+ each, so let's keep our fingers crossed for that 4 digit number!

Larry, What do you know about turbos anyway lol

From what Chris told me the kit has 61's so if this is the standard kit its 61's.........because we all the need capability to flow 1200hp even with minimal lag....lol

great job to all involved..
