DXD now has a new pp for te stage 5's. They rate it at 850+tq (the one I had been running was rated at 690tq).

Reason.....$$$.....clutch is a consumable, I don't care which you go with. And when the clutch costs as much as the motor....that bothers me lol.

I hear ya. I'm concerned that the OS Giken twin I am running may fail after a short span of time. Just thinking about options for the next clutch too. So thanks for sharing. Good info.

When I was considering the purchase, I was told that the Japanese circuit racers use it for cars with upwards of 1000 hp.

No, we use the B covers on our kit. The picture I posted is just a file pic.

Very good points Tom. Many guys spend more on a clutch than they need. I could be one of those guys, but since I beat the crap out of my clutch, I went overkill!

Keep in mind it can always be rebuilt! You don't always have to buy a whole new clutch setup.

very nice. do you have a girdle on your motor? only thing i wish i woulda had put on (well that and maybe more aggro cams)

you should just go with the twin 6262s. you know in a year you'll want them anyhow.

I got that end of business covered. Taking no chances.

Just the stock girdle on mine. Not really going for any more power than I currenlty make, just want to do it with less boost and better rev range....

today I have power from like 3500rpm to 6000rpm.....after cams/turbos predicting more like 4000rpm-8000rpm (if stock intake will get there).

Don't want to be revving higher than that without a billet girdle.

Should be all back together by mid april.

That bottom end looks like mine! I went with twin 6062's. Was going to order 62s, but awhile ago when I got them they were on major backorder and the 60s were on the shelf.

Its not a dd so doesn't bother me. The last one wasn't exactly light either. After a while you don't even notice (unless of course you get caught in nasty traffic..............then you just roll in first lol)

Thats why I went with a twin disc. Very easy engagement with good clamping power.
I cant imagine you can drive anywhere around Chicago and not get in stop and go traffic for miles.

I thinkits amazing how a teeny 4mm difference in wheel size can totally change how much lag a turbo has.

Are you getting the BB turbos? thats balla money!
