Default Sound Performance G35TT race gas dyno (769rwhp) (added couple vids to top of post 1)

Couple vids (nothing great but hey its a start) (and still learning to shift this thing on higher boost...things happen FAST)

Spins 3rd
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/T...6-e00b3b5ee224

Spinds 3rd (can hear tires) then a 4th-5th gear pull short shifting and letting off in 5th
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/3...6-e00b3b5ee224

Rolling into 3rd then 4th and 5th gears

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I finally put some 110octane in the car and strolled over to Sound Performance for some race gas numbers on their setup on my car.

First Thank you Chris and Larry (and the whole shop) for an amazing setup
VERY streetable. Drives like stock, till you get on it of course.

Background on the car again:

2004 G35 Coupe 6spd
Sound Performance Built shortblock (stock sleaves, stock displacement)
Sound Performance TT (Twin 54mm turbos)
Sound Performance return Fuel system (triple in-tank Walbro's, 1000cc inj)
Sound Performance FMIC
Custom Exhaust through stock muffler (hehehehe)
Pro-EFI 48
DXD Southbend Stage V clutch
Stock Heads/Cams

on pump gas at 15psi the car made 511rwhp and 511rwtq

on 110 Race gas at 30psi it did 769rwhp and 710rwtq

On the street the car sees full boost at 3200rpm

I attached a couple vids and the dyno sheets. The second dyno sheet is the stock, pump gas, and race gas.....that one just makes me laugh.

Again thanks Chris and Larry....she's a blast

This vid is a lower power pull (like 560rwhp) but its a good shot of flames from the open wastegate dumps
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/T...6-e00b3b5ee224

Here is the big power pull (don't laugh at me in the trunk lol)
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/T...9-315f9d786465

And the dyno's

Congrats. That's a good bit of pressure! Do you have a compressor map for that turbo handy?

Yup....well until the flex fuel sensor gets here then we'll tune for e85......so the dd numbers may be closer to 600rwhp (cause that makes more sense right??? )

I bet I can get you closer to 700 on E85!!

I still say lets throw some C16 in it and max out the turbos. I think that we can get ~850 out of her!! The timing in the motor is still ridiculously low!!!

I'm just worried about those stock sleeves.......and yes larry I am well aware that you aren't worried about anything lol.

Note to self *never leave car alone with larry near shop*

Wow, great numbers thom....My 350z is there now and I just spoke to Tim who informed me they're pulling the motor today. Ill have the same setup in terms of the engine management (ProEFI) as well as the engine itself, however I will be also be running JWT cams. Ill also be upgrading my TN ST to the larger 62-1 turbo or T66, as well as running 800cc injectors and APS fuel pump. I hope to make around 600whp on the pump (kinda shooting high) however, your numbers have really given me confidence...Nice ride!

Saw your car there. Jerry allready had motor out was tearing it down while we were dynoing.

Can't go wrong SP and the Pro-efi.
I'd assume the 66 could easily make 600 on pump.
Mine doesn't have cams and still made nice power. We could have gotten more aggressive on pump but why screw around and blow something up.

Good luck on your build, you picked the right shop.

I call 520 whp on the mustang with no corrections. There isn't really a comparison to the TN kit and the nastiness that is mentioned in this thread.

I had the TN kit, if I were you, I would sell it and upgrade to this kit!!! There is a lot of demand for these TN kits.

The car will be fun either way though, good luck and it looks like you are in excellent hands!

I know...If I had the money I'd be all over the SP kit. I simply dont have the funds right now, however it definitely gives me something to look forward to in the future. Eventually Ill go that route, along with upgrading the sleeves but I think this is a good platform to start from. I've gone from minor bolt-ons to N20 and cams, to turbo and now upgraded turbo and built motor. However, I will be throwing a TON of stuff up for sale soon including my stock TN turbo...Ill be sure to do a write up of the build when all is said and done.
