One set of tires and several fluid changes later, the car is still running great! I've learned to manage it well at low speeds - it's a beast that doesn't really like speeds below 40mph.
Running RE-11's now instead of the Toyo R888's we put on when we built the car. Decided that if I get stuck in the rain again I'd have a better chance of surviving this way!
Car runs and handles incredible when you let her go. Haven't found anyone to keep up with me in Western Wisconsin, and I'm OK with that...
Only issue I've had is that at 155mph when its 100F+ out it tends to get a little hot!
The added roar of the engine made the stock stereo sound intolerable. Well, it was pretty intolerable before...
So, I had some work done on the sound system and the interior. Props to Mike at Flynn Brothers Customz Temple of Boom who did all the interior/sound work. And a big thanks to Doug Wozney at Dougz Custom Paint and Fab who did his normal masterful job on the blue interior paint to match his world class paintwork on the rest of the car.
Planning on sending the car back to its makers at Forged this winter to finish some tuning work on the RaceLogic TC System and then having them give it a once over. I'm sure they'll find something else to do while its there!
So, here's some pics!

Reason: missed a pic...
Looking good Mark! VERY clean install. Focal makes some great audio goodies, I had a set of their components in one of my cars the the quality was just unreal.

Thanks Chad. Yea, the sound quality is great. Night and day from what it was. See you soon!
13 year refresh on the original Forged Performance Build, with full engine rebuild, differential swap, clutch replacement, front bumper upgrade, all the suspension bushings, lighting, E85 upgrade with Kinetics intake swap, and painted the HRE’s.
It was time and the car is performing better than ever! Current best Z Shop in the world, as far as I know, is Leonardi Auto Performance in Pompano Beach, FL!
First internal failure of the Brian Crower Stroker engine built in 2010. Lost compression on one cylinder and found a broken valve spring. Found a valve spring retainer in the oil pan, but none of the springs were missing a retainer. Figured during original assembly one of the retainers popped off and was not found, but made its way to the pan. After going this far, decided to fully rebuild. The internal components were all in great shape with the exception of the broken valve and some evidence that the “lost” retainer bounced around in the head before making it to the oil pan (dinging on the tops of five valves). Replaced springs and a handful of stripped pan bolts that someone over torqued somewhere along the way…. Back to good as new.
Added the Z1 Differential Brace, changed out the Carbonetics Differential to a Quaife LSD. Car quieted down an order of magnitude!
Orignina build included the old Cosworth Intake. Had the Cosworth rebuilt a couple of times as the end caps need to be resealed periodically (running 18psi on the Greddy TT build). Decided to go to the Kinetics Velocity Intake. Love the look and no more mechanical seals.
The original Top Secretn front bumper had been abused a bit over its life, and time to refresh. Decided on the NIsmo bumper.
OE Steering Wheel was showing its age. Decided to go with a NRG quick release wheel. Also, I had modified the OE Center Dash to accept the original FCon controls/displays. Had previously upgraded the ECU to Syvec and abandoned the controls/displays from the original Forged Performance Build. Found a new Center Dash and had the talented crew at Eurowerks in Pompano Beach, FL paint to match the House of Kolor TruBlue Pearl paint. Also upgraded the original Pineer AVICS to a current Pineer DMH-W4660NEX
Forged Performance installed the original HRE 560 wheels. They were charcoal with polished lips. Decided to have them repainted, again by Eurowerks in Pomano Beach. Eurowerks also matched the paint and hand striping on the new Nismo front fascia. Perfect!
Changed out the old headlights, which wear pretty tired. Went with DEPO JDM style.
Went with Anzo tail lights and LED rear smoked combo lamps from Z1 on the back. New Michelin Pilot Sport 4s rubber all around (19x285 front, 19x305 rear).
The painted Battery/Brake MC covers were ready for replacement as well. Eurowerks matched the paint with normal precision. Good as new. Also replaced the old stock Power Steering reservoir as the plastic was looking pretty bad! With the E85 upgrade, change out of the original builds OS Gilken triple disc clutch to a Z1 Drag Pack, change of the final drive gear to 3,3 ratio, and the rest of the upgrades car is 100% more streetable, incredibly smooth, and engine runs cooler than ever.
