make a brace for the bracket or have someone cnc machine you a steel one.

i, too, am confused on how it's twisting the plate. The whole unit is on the plate mounted together so it doesn't make sense for it to bend a plate. Where is the other direction of force? if it moves forward the force would have to be applying towards the rear of the car and it's not attached to anything else. Not saying it doesn't flex, it's just very confusing on what exactly it's using to cause it to flex. I can see maybe the gearbox inside causing a torque but the way those gears are aligned it wouldn't be a front to rear it would be a rotation of side to side.

well if you looking at it, the belt is either rising off the grooves or the plate is flexing fwd. looks like the belt is so tight its pulling the blower fwd as the rpms get up there! You can see it happening, not sure which part is moving as to you have to take cover once the belt shreads in your face! lol

basically anything over 7500 rpms and its just bish to work with. even with the 850cc in jectors I am dropping fuel pressures after 7500. I am not adding more fuel to this build although I am running the DW300, stage 0, bosch 850cc.

im happy with 505 to the wheels off the meth and 550+ on the meth.

Remember I added meth to make the car safe, not to run on directly. I am no wear near a 50/50 meth mix at WOT. even when we hit full 100% methan injection duty cycle we are about 70/30 if I had to guess gas/meth.

so intake temps are down, I have my first belt slip issues to work through.

Car made 540 on the meth but was only at 17psi.

made 505 off meth 20psi

with the Carbon Fiber driveshaft and a Gates belt back on (best out there that we have tested) should be 20 psi around 590/600

either way its a beast of beast. cant wait for the 345s to get under the rear! 305s on their now but I have yet to drive the car yet. getting her tip top first.

aluminum under tray and new wheel fender plastic inserts installed too last week.

Nice!

Pump gas,, C16??

I think I still got him beat.

My point is always, blowers are just as powerful, anyone making over 550 is morw proof that turbos arent worth the money IMO!

Dyno soon!

Hence when I beat cars with more peak power. I simply out drive typical rich guys, with powerful cars. Weight is always a factor to include drag coefficients

I'll take my turbo that hits 652hp at 5700rpm and carries that for 2000 rpms over hitting 652hp right at redline.

whoever has the most area under the curve wins

not that i'm ******* on superchargers but i'll put a grand down on any race with a supercharger with the same peak hp as me due to how soon i get into power and how long i carry it.

^ i just had a mouth full with a ttg37 540/470ish.

its all about the curve!

my car is just for my midwest supercharge anti turbo roots. People didnt go turbo back in the day, its was all blower. That has shifted, but I still remain true to the blowers, although I am cheating even still with a centrifugal style vs the roots. But I wanted the roots, this daum vortech just landed in my lap one day 3500 with 100 miles off a show car. Had to pull the trigger on that deal.

You brag all about the setup, its only fair you share the downfalls of the belt issues as openly too

I just saw the screen shot of the video, you did better than I had imagined.

Corey you have officially been beat in the dyno drag! You might take some notes on his belt setup.. apparently no slip issues?

3rd 4th yes.. we all know turbos are down low beasts aka TQ. Im all top end power aka HP. We ran out of room. 4th 5th next time, plus I do not know this area very well. my car is all top end, either way his car is no slow poke, he too gobbles R1s for lunch!

go to 10:15/11:20 Zilla was in route!

Thats even stock block G37 though right?

wow the excuses are flying in that vid. surprised you didnt say you only spend 3500$

Your logic about needing higher speeds is also flawed. You car makes power based on rpm, you just need to be in 1 lower gear when starting. going faster, like 70 in 3rd, just starts you at better rpm. You just dont want to shift 2-3, 3-4, 4-5 when the turbo car only needs 2 shifts.
