Thumbs up 560/460 Hills Garage Vortech Beast!

Once again. I have to bow down to Hills Garage and the Frank on Frank combination with Suzanne Running the shop of WIN EFFING WIN EFFING WIN!

Its very simple and no need to discuss the hours and hours of dyno time, tuning, troubleshooting, and faulty parts and everything to include the kitchen sink being wrong with my car before getting it dialed in.

Im not kidding two or three (NEVER SEEN ISSUES) but 2 am, cursing, thinking, talking, yelling, threatening to burn the car, Checkers Hotwings, and sleepless nights is what Hills Garage is all about! They take the phrase GET R DUN to the payment!

So after three or so trips troube shooting faulting parts and totaling over 20+ hours of dyno time. Sad when you have to change the oil due to excessive dynos (take note other shops).

GZILLA put down 560rwhp and 460rwtq at 7350rpms! Thats a whopping 700 crank HP at 20% loss. Since you Turbo folks always like to point out that it takes more HP to turn a blower vs a turbo. You are correct so add 5 to 10% more drivetrain loss especially above 15psi at you no yeild 800 at the crank at 30% parasitic loss!

There was still more to go pum the PSI is through the roof, so timing had to be pulled uptop to ensure the block at least makes it home in one piece. lol

Vehicle Information:
2005 Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe
6sp MT
Built Block 8.8.1 compression
Nismo: Flywheel and Thermostat
EVO 10, Front mount, upgrade Intercooler
Vortech REV-UP blower, impeller upgraded to T-Trim
OEM headers
Fast Intensions Exhaust
850cc Bosch Injectos
Stage 0 Fuel Return
Stage 1 Clutch (forget brand, looks like JWT..lol got it free)
Hills Pressure Regulator
6 years of patience, R&D and staying ANTI TURBO!

LMAO!

Be safe, love the sport, these forums, and I thank this community for always finding something new and exciting...if yall know me, Im all about being different.

Future Plans!

1. Meth Kit 5 gallon (ordered)
2. T-Bolt clamps and new HD Couplers (ordered)
3. Poweder Coated F Strut Bar (picked up next week)
4. Twin baby rear mount turbos (lmao...just kidding)
5. Less $$$$ in my checking account (worth it for things like this)
6, At least one fight with the wife!, but making up is sweet!
7. New rims and tires, I have RIM ADD, rims in pic sold last night! LOL

Suck on this you turbo freaks!

hahahahaha I keeed I keeeed!:BOOBIES:

and think, the car was asking for more timing! SMH

no I dont spell check my post!

IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE THAT PUT DOWN MORE POWER ON AN VORTECH, PLEASE POST!?!?!?!!?!?!?

What did you do for fuel pumpage? Do you have an aux pump? I didn't think the typical walbro would handle this much HP!

DW fuel pump kicks out about 50cc more :-) but I swear the Bosch Injectors flow ten time smoother... 850cc ftw!

I didnt go heavy duty but its all the standard set up. Wiseco, although the rods came recommended by Hills. Stock heads and valve springs which sucks because I can wind this T Trim to 28psi, just not on pump gas. 8300 rpm limit I believe is what I heard it would take.

going to add meth and remove 2.62 and slap the 2.87 back on we had to stop because the boost was looking like an EVO 10 for a moment.

FYI 928 motorsports sells the upgrad high speed bearings for the SC style Blower. I just had a T trim Impeller upgrade and Vortech makes you buy a complete blower to get the 60,000rpm bearings.

called up 928 who also makes a BEASTLY Ttrim impeller competitor...they sent bearings for next to nothing!

Wow it pays to wait, research, ask many questions, and patience.

So I do all that and the car will actually exceed pump gas capabilties now.... total build

under 8k over 4 years

Long story but block was paid for from a car accident.

If you're looking for a meth kit let me know, I bought cass007's aquamist but never got the ***** to install it. Thinking about letting it go cheap and using a few gallons of 105 octane at the track instead.

ill ask hills if they ordered it. I pretty much through the cash at them while the car was still on the dyno, from the looks on their faces when they saw the above drinking aged boost levels.

quote "frank tuner" id make 600 before she blew, but we would ony get one run out of it!

the car never saw the 7500 rpms redlne before we had to back it off!

Thinking of doing a race gas map and pump gas map.

I wonder if I can change the RPM limit on a diff map? anyone know? or is the rpm setting on dif page on of the ecu tuning process?

pump gas would need to be about 850 rpms (at least) lower than the race gas map of 7500 or more... but now we need to consider stock valve spring boost limts too.

I think 550 is enough for my daily (short of...3 cars)

Awesome congrats! I also have a vortech and am shooting for about 550-600whp. I know the feeling with having problmes, ive had nothing but problem after problem and i said i was going to roll my car into traffic

I have a few questions for you. I have a T-trim blower with 750cc injectors, what was your IDC? Also, how much boost were are you seeing, and how do you have your belt routed?

Boost could hit 25 psi easy! I have a rev up,so using stock config on a 2.62 pulley. Keep in mind that SC need about 4 psi more to do turbo HP.but 21/22psi is a pump gas time bomb, fuel/air simply cant mix safely w 8.8.1 compression included. Hell 8.0.1 even.

This set up can easily make 6/700 or race gas alternate type fuels. 500 rpm more it would of hit 600. This is the posted dyno...she made a bit more on accident...we were n dissbelief...and like noooo wayyy will it hit x. Lol but some quick math yielded a hand gernade waitingto happen.

It was 39 degrees in the shop mid July that would of never happened.
Sorry IDC was 60%.

I troll all forums..major issues starting from Subaru race team with DW injectors not delivering and flaking out. I went Bosch 850cc.
Sti folks are anti DW. But the DW fuel pump kicks Walboros azz for the money! Up 50cc.
Found a Subaru hook up, pm if you need some.

Ok i should be good with my 750s then. I went with the aeromotive 340LPH pump, i figured its the biggest drop in pump so mite as well go with that just so i kno i have enough fuel supplied. I have an ATI super damper with the 6.78 crank pulley and am currently running the 3.12 serp pulley with 32/28 cogs. Right now im having a problem with it chewing up the serp belt for sum reason, its ripping the front couple ribs off the belt. Its rubbing somewhere but im not 100% sure where yet but im thinking its the tensioner cuz there isnt even enough room to put the belt around the crank pulley and over the tensioner pulley with out removing the tensioner pulley im going to try to make a smaller pulley work there to get a little extra room there. But other than that problem its ready for the dyno.
