Default Twin Top Mount GT35R's on VQ35 - Guess what we are putting it in???

We are at it again...... We are getting crazy over here! Z-fever is building a VQ35 with TWIN top mount GT35R's... we are not going to give away the secret yet but can you guess what it is going into?

We have already made the manifolds and wanted to give you an idea of how they will look. This is the VQ35 from my race car but these manifolds and turbos are going onto a totally different car with a VQ35 in it.

Can you guess????
Let us know what you think!

This is the finished location of the turbos and the manifolds are almost finished being welded up. After they are done we will polish ceramic coat them.
We are running twin Tial 44mm MVR wastegates.

I hope you like it!

Doug

Is it going into the 03' silverstone Z that has been in your shop for a while with an empty engine bay?

We use the aluminum valve covers from the 01 Pathfinder with a VQ35. The outside bolt pattern is the same but a few things have to be machined to fit. And we use the 350Z coils but one does not fit normally. We have to make a bracket to hold it down.
Then we send them out to be high polished.
Once that is done we install new spark plug seals and valve cover gaskets.

We charge $900 to make a set if you are interested.

They sure look HOT when done. This is my race car's VQ....

Something without a hood? (I'm guessing the racecar that engine came out of!)

Ah HA!!!!!! You get the golden star. We are building a stroked twin turbo FX that's AWD. Should be one of the coolest FX's ever. There is a ton of room between the engine and the hood. So, that's where the turbos will sit.
I will make a full build post as she progresses....

It will be a 4.3L stoked VQ35.
92mm crank w/ forged rods
CP 100mm 8.8:1 pistons
Darton sleeves
ARP mains and head studs (L19)
Cosworth MLS gaskets
JWT cams w/ springs
Ferrea oversized exh valves

1000cc injectos
Fever Racing fuel rails
Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
Fever Racing fuel return
Dual fuel pump system

Osiris ROM with our own tuning
Greedy 4-core intercooler
Then all the piping will be made by us and fabbed in house.
We are also making our own 3" dual exhaust system from turbo outlet to muffler.....

To hold the power to the ground we sent the AWD trans to Level 10 where they worked their magic. We have used them for many builds and they do great things over there.

We will have quiet mufflers with open dumps under the car, that way the car will be very refined.

The customer just asked me to build racing brakes and coilovers for it also. This is something that even I would love to drive.
800whp AWD FX35 grocery getter... hillarious, but fun!
