The ET Tuning 350Z is running and doing good. The base tune up produced 700 wheel hp. We took the car to VIR for testing, it did well, lapping the track in just over 2 minute times with straight speeds over 160mph with ease. Thank you all for help with the over all car build, this forum is great! Everything but the carbon work has been done in house, a big thank you to all involved in making this car a reality!

Here are some early pictures of the cage work. It is a little bit of over kill because of the power we want to run. We doubled the lower bars between the door pillars and also did a double x in the rear. The chassis is working very well, the corner weights came out perfect. Only handling problem has been rear wheel spin.

I noticed this car had the asuka double hump cf roof installed, I noticed on the build the oem roof has been removed, I have the asuka roof pending to install but I been told that this is not structural roof, Do you know if the roof can be installed as it is or do it needs to modify in order to give it more stenght to the actual piece?

 

There is a full roll cage in the OPs car. The roof no longer serves any purpose for structure.
