Fixing my XXR 18x10 +25 Square Setup
So I just purchased XXR 521 18x10 +25 all around along with HTR Z III 275/35f & 275/40r tires. I was going by the advice here: https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-...ll-around.html
The guys at the shop test fitted the fronts and said they were hitting the control arms --I've got an 06 vert at stock height. They didn't mount the rears though I would assume based on what I've read, they should fit fine, just sunken a bit. I've seen a few people on this forum seemed to have success with 18x10 +12, so would I be able to run a 10mm spacer in the front to clear the control arm? If so, would I need to roll the fenders to not rub? Should I run a 5mm wider (wider than the front) spacer in the rear to fill the fender better?
I don't care for my car to be super hellaflush, I just want to make these wider wheels work if I can. I plan to mildly drop the car eventually but right now I'd rather not have to buy camber kits.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Great, thanks for the quick reply! So just to be clear, 10mm front and 15mm rear spacers should clear and be (relatively) flush without needing to roll any of the fenders? I'll definitely remove that screw!

"Flush" is relative. With the specs of your wheels, you're already bringing the wheel OUT by over an inch (27mm to be precise). 15mm spacers will bring the total to 42mm with an effective offset of "only" +10mm. It's an even bet you'll need to roll. (This figure is in relation to stock wheels.... 18x8.5 +33 or smaller)
Before you rush out and buy a set of rear spacers, I'd advise you try the wheels/tires as is. In 10+ wheel sets, I've never had to roll my fenders until I went with a +15mm offset. Have gone up to 11" wide +25 with 295/35 rears with no issue.
And this is a puny 9.5" rear wheel.

Would you agree that a 10mm spacer up front with the factory rolled fenders would clear the suspension and not rub?
I can definitely leave the rear as is for now and roll/space later if I need to

Thanks for the input! As I said in the op, I honestly don't care about being super flush. The reason I was thinking about spacers in the rear is because it's a square setup, I thought it might look weird if I spaced the front and left the rear as is, like a reverse stagger?

I can't begin to tell you whether 10mm spacers will work since I've not seen any issues like this. (I run 20mm spacers to accommodate high offset Z34 wheels but none for clearance.)

To be honest, I don't know why your +25 offset aren't fitting as is. But, guess the wheel and tire widths are pretty large - however many times I've seen people go 275 square.

Just to be safe and not be told they won't fit again, I'm gonna grab some 10mm spacers (which should make it just about flush too, by my measurement). Will post pics when I get them in/installed.

In truth, I've worked on my car a little bit (I've installed mrev2 + spacer and an intake), but I'm letting a shop handle mounting the wheels and tires. I would have thought they would know if fixing the alignment would get the wheels on but they just said to space it. Maybe I should take it somewhere else first and see what they have to say before buying spacers?

in my opinion they are playing it safe and test fit there's no way it hits. it looks like it will with suspension free but once it's on the ground the car camber and gives more clearance. if 10 +25 were hitting no one would run it. that's a pretty common front. like I said my front is 10 +30 5mm closer to control arm and no issue. I added a 10mm just to make it even with my rear +20.
