Default 18x10 all around?

Ok, so I tried searching, but couldn't find any straight answers. I apologize if the answers are out there and I just missed them. My question is I'm about to order new wheels and I'm trying to decide between a staggered 18x8.5 / 18x10 or 18x10 all around. Im not lowered yet, but will be. Nothing crazy when I do though, maybe an inch. If I run 18x10 all around will I have any problems with rubbing up front? Also, I'm still not real knowledgable in the wheel game, so offset recommendations would be a great help as well. Thanks a lot guys!

Question is irrelevant without talking about offsets and tire sizes.

Best idea: find someone who has a picture of the fitment you want then ask or see if they posted wheel/tire size and offset.

As Wired said, you can easily fit 10s all around (I had a set with big tires, and currently have a set), but offset is the second key in addition to planned tire sizes. The staggered tire may look odd since the tire will "pull" differently given the same wheel width (i.e. a 245 will look different on the 10 versus a 275), so you could and should consider running the same size tire (like 275/35 front and 275/40 rear).

the offset would be +25 on the 18x10. And I'm not sure about tire sizes as I haven't ordered any yet. I'm obviously looking to see if/what would fit. As I said I'm still a little new to the wheel game so I'm looking for advice on if the 18x10s would fit up front....aka what offset and tire sizes would be best. I'm sorry if I didn't explain that correctly off the bat.

Hey thank you for the info. When I mentioned staggered I meant staggered wheels not tires, sorry for the confusion. Same size tires all around on the 10s would make sense. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but when you said run the same size tires...wouldnt 275/35 and 275/40 be different sidewall sizes? Or did you just mean same size as in width? Do you think the 275/35 and 375/40 would be the best tire setup to run 10s with a +25 offset all the way around? Thanks again.

Yes, unless your car was lowered and you wanted to run 285/30s on them.

Here is an 18x10 +23 in the front with a 275-like tire:

And this is how 285/30s look:

Thank you very much! 18x10s are ordered. Going to take a little while, so I'll order tires closer to when they're coming in. Thanks a lot for the advice. BTW Scott your car is sick. Well done!

I ordered a set of XXR 521's. Yea, they're a cheaper wheel, but they're going to be for the daily grind for now, so I cant justify spending 3k on wheels at the moment ya know.

Yes it has been done. You stretch the front tire. Go fat with the rear.

Hey I'm curious as to how this turned out, looking to do the same with the exact same wheels.

That user has not been on forum for five years. Go to the Enkei thread for lots of pictures of stagger AND square setups. (Or peruse the tire & wheel section).
