1Quick question Does the stock head unit have rca style inputs in the back?
I just gotta see how this turns out. I'd go look at my HU but it's stored away in the attic with the other spare Z parts. Still waiting for a rainy day to take down the stock amp to take a pic. of it next to a pack of gum to compare the size. LOL
Proof..
Its nice being right.
The two bottom harness inputs are for things directly relating to the functioning of the head unit. Ex: speaker outputs, acc power, switched 12v power etc.... The harness input w/ the adapter plugged into it is the input that normally accepts a CD changer. This input if you do not have a CD changer stock, will still have a harness plugged into it. Its dead. It does absolutley nothing. It's mearly pre-wiring for if you would like to hook a stock CD changer up. The Soundgate adapter plugs right into it and converts the cd changer input into two RCA cables. Allowing you to plug a high quality audio line into it.
As you can see. This head unit has NO SAT button on it. And is NOT the Bose head unit.
BTW I am selling this adapter here:

This thread is eight years old buddy. Some google fu and VOILA! This might just work! http://www.pac-audio.com/productDeta...CategoryID=45C
In all honesty I have no idea if this would work. I just put in a 2004 350z in their vehicle selector and thats what it gave me. Maybe try the same thing for your car.
