Default New fuel door thread to replace ruined one

My door still does not work right. I don't believe it can be fixed.

My fuel door never stuck either (6,000 miles). But, after about 2,500 miles I noticed that the door was not sitting flush with the rear panel (Only noticeable from an angle). My dealership replaced the fuel door under warranty for free.

Smile Fuel door okay but...

My fuel door is fine. But I wish it was metal instead of plastic. I have 2800 miles on my ride.

4100 and working well. I noticed that how the fuel catch cord lies inside the fuel door affects how flush it looks with the quarter panel. It seems mine looks clean long as the cord is flat.

2,552 miles and no problemswith the fuel door at all. My paint on the fuel door even matches perfectly unlike many Z's I have seen.

15,000 and yes it gets stuck sometimes.

I always click the button a half a dozen times before I get out.

Are you serious? I've never seen a fuel door that doesn't match the body.

Yes I am serious. Do a little search. I went to a meet and looking at the line of Z's, most of them did not match. Esspesially the DB. Infact, I was not even the one to point it out, someone else at the meet did.

Strange....all these Zs that I've seen do not have color mismatch problem. Perhaps, they forgot to also "Zaino" the fuel door.
