You're welcome.
Fellas I'm shocked. I had gotten my hopes up retardly high in regards to reading the new reviews of how the new mustangs performed on the track. My want for one was compounded by that glass roof. Just sexy, I get hard thinkin about it.
Then I drove a 5.0 GT this weekend. It failed. In every sense of the word the drive failed.
The interior was fantastic. Especially with the my color option where they spalsh low lit LED light throughout the entire cabin. It was nice.
But the ride was a bit harsh. Jeep wrangler harsh not sports car harsh.
I'm 6ft 3 and I still didn't feel comfortable with that huge long front end. Adam, how you'd ever drive a corvette hard is beyond me. I felt no confidence taking this thing through turns. It felt so huge. Mind you, I've never driven a muscle car. But I can see why they're called muscle cars and not sports cars. I've been pampered by small cars all my life. RSX, 350z, Jeep wrangler, ect... I "know" where my car is, what it's about to do, ect...
This mustang was fast in a straight away. But didn't feel fast. Didn't sound fast. I had no sense of where it was other then it's every where at once. I had no sense of confidence in going fast through a turn. It had the track pack on it too. There was no way in hell I think I'd ever feel confident taking that car through some twisties. I actually walked away with a greater respect for those that take these muscle cars and auto cross em.
Guess it's 370 for me. I'll always want that glass roof and the my color feature though.

lol a vette and mustang arent in the same league as far as handling
the long front does throw you some but that just comes down to relying on your skills and not the cars. It IMO would def be easier to throw the z around at the tail of the dragon over a vette though. agreed they're diff animals.

Chenal Automotive on HWY 10 is a new place owned by Jeff Spector. Some of you know him from AutoX. Small place, but staffed with great people who love cars. They really took awesome care of my super fragile Rays 19's! and charged me for about 1/3 of the time they spent on it. I know, they'll get me when I buy my next set there. LOL
Fellas I was just told on Monday that my employer wishes I move to West Palm Beach, FL for a switch technician position.
Here I was just 2 months ago worried about them cutting everyone in my department which they still plan to, in December. Financially it just makes sense for me to move plus the 44% increase in pay I just can't fathom not taking the job. Add the crappy economy to the mix and it's a no brainer.
What's the catch? I have 2 weeks (from Monday) to report to my new job Nov 8th. Those of you that I'm friends with on Facebook we can keep in touch of course that way. Furthermore, the ones I know like Tim, Adam, Marco, TJ, Steve you all can come down anytime, I got a spare bed and I'll be 4 minutes from the beach.
What's goin on with the 350? I still have it. I haven't found a 7spd White 370 w/ gray interior yet that has all the options I want. That and I don't have time to worry about it right now with the job reloc. I'm moving next Wednesday. Met my future boss just two days ago when they flew me down to make sure this is what I wanted.
I feel blessed. Yet I worry when I wonder how this company, if I stuck with em, is gonna treat me when I'm older. There were many more people on my floor that had more experience then me and I can't help but think that I got it just cause I'm single, no family, lower income then the rest on my floor, ect...
That aside I won't frequent this thread much anymore. Esepcially once I make the jump to a new car whatever whenever that may be.
On a brighter note perhaps they have more meets in FL then we do here
Ya'll got my number so get @ me anytime.

seems fitting.. when i see you I think, did this mf'er just come from West Palm Beach?! LOL. No really... alot of good.. and ALOT of bad there. I grew up around there (and Ft Myers/Sanibel Island on the other side). We also have an office there, we have a Florida Condo magazine. Hell, I might actually be down there some time to look you up. Anyway, it's definitely a different mindset down there. Not sure if you've spent time down there before or not, but lets just say I'm alot less trusting with people in just about every way there. Aside from that, it's a great opportunity to get out of AR for sure. Should be a blast.
