You should holler at lcat85, he is jacksonville afb. I know he was wanting to practice as well. I think its 30 to race on a t &t night, but they don't always race our class.

The way it works its that everyone gets at least one pass, unless its import shoot out.lol usually its scheduled by category, I think we fall under street modified because of the 6cyl rwd...

 

Keep in mind centerville is only 1,000' track but its cheap to run up there and Wayne is a good guy.(owner of track) First time i took my Z there to run i got 2nd place trophy in the import class, i was beat by a 280z with a small block chevy and slicks

 

come to think of it, it might have been a z shootout? I cant remember it's been a minute...

 

I haven't been out there since the summer of 06, before I even owned a 350z. I remember there was a guy with an ls1 rx7 that would beat everyone. The last import shootout I went to, some 17 yr old won first place in a s2k. Maybe its not a 1/4 mile but you're right the owners seem to be nice people.

I'm just not really a fan of Stillen as a whole.

 

The drive is "14" hours. I'm just really not keen to the idea of driving a z 1k miles. Lots and lots of stops are probably going to happen.

I'll cruise to the track with everyone and hang out, but I don't plan on racing.

 

take some music with you, 15gb of music got me through with my trip. I don't plan in racing either, I just want to enjoy the show

Yes, I coasted around 73mph. Never over heated or anything else. I would stop to refill and get back on the road.

 

For sure. Coasting, out of boost I suppose there really shouldn't be any issues on a long trip.

I am all over Little Rock tho lol west, north, south you name it im there!
