I very much trust the techs at Ellis Infiniti. If I'm too busy, they do all the work on my Pathfinder.. they love working on Nissans. They cant process warranty work, but anything else, they do. Speaking of parts, they actually give me great deals on parts there. I know what stuff costs, they dont jack me around like the local Nissan dealers. Trey is the guy to speak to there. While their hourly rate is more, it ends up costing me less because they dont try to rob me like Nissan. And they dont damage my car ever single visit like Nissan.

the other place to consider is the Chenal Automotive place run/owned by Jeff Specter. Alot of people know him from AutoX and the time he worked at Donnie's. Really good guy, his guys handled my Rays before I sold them. Did an awesome job and charged me 1/2 what I was prepared to pay. He mostly does detailing and routine mx, but I have seen then dropping transaxles out of Porsches, so they arent afraid of bigger jobs. Tiny place, but the people working there are car enthusiasts and have so far done a great job for me.

 

thanks bro!!! Donnies did my install of my rims on my altima coupe before i got the Z. I dont trust NLR Nissan with anything anymore after the dumbass tech left a wrench in my engine bay and caused alllllllll kinds of damage.

 

yup.. they forgot to tighten my radiator hoses on the PF.. they pulled it up SPEWING antifreeze. I said what the hell?! they said oh we just washed it, it will stop.. ok..lets wait for that. it doesnt of course. then I say, you need to get your tech back out here. The service manager said "sir are you suggesting we caused that" Oh.. you took out my radiator (fan clutch) but didnt remove the hose? That's some skill!! Long pause and a blank stare. IDIOTS. They destroyed the radiator in the process of changing the idler pulley too. real brain trust. I'm pretty sure Mensa doesnt hold meeting over there.

 

Chenal Automotive is on the opposite corner from Walmart on the end of Chenal. Like you were going to Pinnacle. It's the small 2 bay place behind the gas station. Donnie's struck me as pretty f'n pretentious, good service or not. Jeff is doing the same sorts of service without those jacked up prices and attitude.

 

wow...what a bunch of idiots. Mine got caught in the drive belt and **** it the fan going down 630...the ended up paint for towing, the pulleys it broke and of course as i was getting off the interstate i "curbed" my rims so they bought me two more instead of a lawsuit against them lol

 

One of their 'master' techs changed my oil when our PF was brand new. Instead of throwing the filter to the side, he placed it on the lower engine cover. and forgot it. So I was leaking oil everywhere. So I come back 3! telling them to find the source of the oil and they couldn't.. I finally refused to leave until they figured it out. it was just the old filter rolling around. Wasted 4 hours on that

 

4 with yours lol. I read it was supposed to rain? I just spent half the day detailing mine, fml....

 

Yeah I don't do business with them anymore...They messed my car up once and that was enough for me...

I would be back if I landed, and started driving back the same night. I want to see my family though so I'll probably start heading out Sunday. Who knows, we'll see.
