Just putting this out there....and I hope everyone can make it out again

March 22nd is the next autox...hopefully we will have some better weather. But we do run rain or shine Same place..War Memorial Stadium.

7:00 – 8:00 Course set-up
8:00 – 9:30 Registration
8:00 – 9:30 Tech Inspection
8:30 – 9:30 Course open for walking
9:45 Drivers Meeting
10:00 First car off

$25 for members and $35 for non members.

Also we are trying to make a street tire class for the 350z. This will also include s2000's and m3's. Basically its a place for the cars that don't have a street tire class(most are 2 seats/rwd). So this class has potential to be one of the larger classes.

I sure don't....whats wrong with your wheel?

And I lived in houston for 2 years while I went to school...now I just go visit the future in-laws down there. But while I was down there I was a poor poor collage student and didn't go to any autox'es

I have a set of 19" Advan T6 wheels... sweet as hell, ya know, the super light hollow ones.. except for the popping noise one is making. the guy I got them from was road racing. although the wheel looks nearly new, I think either the lug seats/taper are f'd up, he may have run them loose... or something worse. I just dont know. I even got the head of Mackin to answer my emails, but ultimately they couldnt do anything.

I'm thinking about trying to find a way to drill out alittle of the lug seat, sorta like they do with race wheels. Too bad they use a different angle because those 5 hole jigs are easy to find. If its not that, then there is something wrong inside the hollow spoke.. if I had access to a scope, I'd love to peek in the spokes (they have access holes). I think everyone here has looked at them and just scratched their heads like I have.

see this lip? I cant help but think thats the cause... Maybe just dremel that lip down. Although, I have tried several lugs and they all looked to be fully engaging.. I used rays lugs and they didnt even show marks (they are soft) of bottoming out on that lip. :/
